4. Installation Guide
Before installation, ensure your vehicle is turned off and the battery is disconnected to prevent electrical damage.
4.1 Compatibility Check
This radio is designed for Porsche Cayman 997, 911 Facelift, Boxster, and Carrera models. Please verify your original car radio type (CDR-30, PCM-2/2.1, or CDR-24) to ensure compatibility.

Special Note for BOSE Sound Systems: If your original car has a BOSE sound system, you will need to add a fiber optic box for proper audio integration. Please contact customer service for more information.

4.2 General Installation Steps
- Carefully remove your original car radio unit.
- Connect the Junsun radio's power cable (pin-to-pin) directly to the car's power interface.
- Connect the GPS antenna and other necessary cables (RCA, USB, Microphone) to the corresponding ports on the Junsun unit.
- If you have the 4G version, install the 4G SIM cable and module.
- Secure the new Junsun unit in the dashboard using the provided screws and screwdriver.
- Reconnect the car battery and turn on the ignition to test the unit.

4.3 Rear View Camera Connection (Optional)
If you are installing an optional rear view camera, follow these wiring instructions:
- Connect the red cable (②) from the camera to the backup light's positive (+) terminal.
- Connect the black cable (①) from the camera to the vehicle's ground (GND).
- Connect the reversing detection cable (④, brown color) to the red cable (③) extending from the video input cable.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 User Interface (UI)
The Junsun UI 4.0 features a personalized design with common functions integrated into the desktop for easy access. The radio automatically switches between day and night modes based on your car's headlights, adjusting screen brightness for optimal visibility.

5.2 Wireless CarPlay & Android Auto
The Junsun radio supports both Wireless CarPlay (for iOS) and Android Auto (for Android) for seamless smartphone integration.

5.2.1 Wireless Connection
- Turn on your phone’s Bluetooth and pair it with the car’s Bluetooth.
- Once paired, the car radio will automatically display the Zlink or AutoLink interface.
- Your phone will prompt a message to "use carplay with Zlink or AutoLink".
- Turn on your mobile phone's Wi-Fi, and CarPlay/Android Auto will connect.
5.2.2 Wired Connection
Use your original data cable to connect your phone to the 4-PIN USB cable of the radio. Then, activate the CarPlay/Android Auto function on your phone and select the "AutoLink" or "ZLINK5" icon on the device to establish the connection.

5.3 DSP Sound Adjustment
The integrated DSP (Digital Signal Processor) allows for fine-tuning of audio parameters to optimize sound quality. You can adjust equalization, bass filtering, sound field, and other settings to match your car's acoustics and personal preferences.

5.4 Navigation
The Junsun car navigation system includes built-in offline maps and supports online maps. It provides free updates for offline maps, ensuring you always have the latest route information.

5.5 AI Voice Control
Control your radio hands-free using advanced AI voice commands. This feature improves driving safety by allowing you to manage music, navigation, and calls without taking your hands off the wheel.
5.6 Online Radio
Access a wide range of online radio stations from over 20 countries and regions. The system provides intelligent recommendations and covers popular charts, allowing you to listen to your favorite stations even when far from home.
5.7 Junsun Online App (4G Version Only)
The exclusive "Junsun Online" app allows you to track your vehicle's real-time location, replay historical routes, and remotely monitor and capture footage (requires an optional dashcam). This enhances driving safety and provides insights into your driving performance.

5.8 Split Screen Function
Enjoy superior multitasking with the split screen feature. For example, the main driver can use navigation while a passenger watches a video, or you can listen to music on one side and monitor ADAS DVR functions on the other.

5.9 Reversing Screen Function
When reversing, the screen automatically displays the rear view camera feed (if installed), providing clear visibility of blind spots and obstacles to reduce accident risk.
6. Maintenance
- Keep the screen clean using a soft, lint-free cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Ensure proper ventilation around the unit to prevent overheating. The powerful cooling fan helps maintain optimal operating temperature.
- Regularly check for software updates (OTA updates are available for some models) to ensure optimal performance and access to new features.
7. Troubleshooting
7.1 Common Issues & Solutions
- Unit does not turn on: Check all power connections to ensure they are securely fastened. Verify the car battery is connected and charged.
- Steering Wheel Controls not working:
- If your product does not include a Canbus (V1/V1.C/V1 Pro/V1 Pro.C models): Go to Car Settings > General > SWC Type > Learning Type to configure.
- If your product does not include a Canbus (V1 Plus models): Go to Settings > Car information > SWC > Learning Type to configure.
- If your product includes a Canbus: Ensure the 8-pin interface of the Canbus cable is connected. Then, select the correct Canbus type in the settings. If unsure, contact customer service.
- Boot Logo not displaying: Due to copyright issues, the logo may not be displayed by default. Contact customer service for instructions on how to modify the logo if needed.
- UI 3.0 vs UI 4.0: If you received UI 3.0 and wish to update to UI 4.0, please contact Junsun online service for assistance.
- External Microphone not working: Ensure the external microphone is connected via an RCA cable. The unit has a built-in microphone.

9. Warranty & Support
Junsun offers a 2-year warranty on this product. If the product experiences an issue within 2 years of receipt, a new machine replacement may be provided. Please contact customer service for support.

- 4G vs. WiFi Version: If you frequently use internet-dependent features while driving, consider the 4G version to avoid draining your smartphone's battery by using it as a modem.
- Optional Accessories: Rear view cameras, ADAS DVRs, TPMS, and OBD2 modules are not included in the standard package and must be purchased separately if desired.
- External Microphone: While the unit has a built-in microphone, an external microphone can be connected via an RCA cable for potentially improved audio quality.
