5. Installation and Initial Setup

5.1 Unpacking and Inspection

  1. Carefully remove the machine from its packaging.
  2. Inspect the machine for any signs of damage during transit. Report any damage to your supplier immediately.
  3. Ensure all components listed in the packing list are present.

5.2 Placement

  • Place the machine on a stable, level surface capable of supporting its weight (50-60KG).
  • Ensure adequate clearance around the machine for proper ventilation. The cooling system is air-cooled with heat dissipation from the machine bottom. Do not block air vents.
  • Avoid placing the machine near heat sources or in direct sunlight.

5.3 Power Connection

  • Connect the machine to a grounded electrical outlet that matches the specified voltage (110-220V/50-60Hz). Refer to Figure 6 for plug types.
  • Do not use extension cords or adapters unless absolutely necessary and rated for the machine's power requirements.

5.4 Initial Cleaning

Before first use, thoroughly clean all parts that will come into contact with food.

  1. Disassemble the dispensing handle and beater assembly.
  2. Wash all removable parts with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and sanitize.
  3. Wipe down the hopper and freeze cylinder interior with a damp cloth and food-grade sanitizer.
  4. Reassemble all parts, ensuring they are correctly seated.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Preparing Ice Cream Mix

  • Use a high-quality commercial soft serve mix.
  • Prepare the mix according to the manufacturer's instructions. Ensure it is well-chilled before adding to the machine.

6.2 Filling the Hopper

  • Ensure the machine is plugged in but not in operation mode.
  • Pour the prepared and chilled ice cream mix into the 6.5L hopper. Do not overfill.

6.3 Starting Production

  1. Turn on the main power switch.
  2. Press the 'FREEZE' button on the control panel. The machine will begin the freezing process.
  3. The first freeze time is approximately 15-17 minutes. The LED display will indicate progress.
  4. Once the ice cream reaches the desired consistency (indicated by the machine or LED display), it is ready for dispensing.

6.4 Dispensing Ice Cream

  • Place a cup or cone under the dispensing nozzle.
  • Pull down the dispensing handle to release the soft serve ice cream.
  • Push the handle up to stop dispensing.
  • The machine can continuously produce approximately 4-5 cups per cycle, with a waiting time of 5-7 minutes between cycles for optimal consistency.

6.5 Using WASH Mode

  • The 'WASH' mode is used for cleaning the machine. Refer to the Maintenance section for detailed cleaning procedures.
  • To activate, ensure the hopper is empty or filled with cleaning solution, then press the 'WASH' button.

6.6 Precooling and Fresh Mode (Optional)

  • If your machine is equipped with the optional precooling system, it helps keep the mix in the hopper chilled before freezing, maintaining freshness.
  • Consult the specific instructions for activating and utilizing these modes if available on your model.

7. Cleaning and Maintenance

Regular cleaning and maintenance are crucial for hygiene, performance, and longevity of your ice cream machine.

7.1 Daily Cleaning

  1. Empty the Hopper: At the end of each day, drain any remaining ice cream mix from the hopper.
