It facilitates instant two-way translation for a wide range of languages, supporting both online and offline modes, as well as photo and recording translation. 4. Setup Guide
4.1 Device Charging
Before initial use, fully charge the device. Connect the provided Type-C charging cable to the device and a 5V 1A power adapter. A full charge typically takes about 1 hour. Note that the device does not support fast charging.

4.2 Wi-Fi Connection
For optimal performance, especially for online translation, connect the device to a stable Wi-Fi network or mobile hotspot.
- From the main screen, tap on the "Settings" icon (gear symbol).
- In the Settings menu, locate and tap "WLAN" (Wi-Fi).
- Toggle the WLAN switch to "On".
- Select your desired Wi-Fi network from the list. Enter the password if prompted and tap "Confirm".
- Once connected, the Wi-Fi icon will appear in the status bar.
Important Note: The device supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi bands. When using a mobile hotspot, ensure your Android device's hotspot is set to 2.4GHz, and for Apple devices, turn on "Maximize Compatibility" in the hotspot settings.

4.3 System Language Settings
To change the device's interface language:
- From the main screen, tap on the "Settings" icon.
- Scroll down and tap on "System Language".
- Select your preferred system language from the list (e.g., English, Deutsch, Español).

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Online Translation
Ensure your device is connected to Wi-Fi for online translation. This mode supports 138+ languages with high accuracy.
- From the main screen, tap on "Online Translation".
- At the top of the screen, select your original language (red icon) and target language (blue icon).
- To speak, long press the corresponding voice input button (red for original language, blue for target language). You will hear a "Di" sound.
- Speak clearly into the device.
- Release the button. The device will automatically recognize, translate, and broadcast the translation.
- Tap on the screen to replay the conversation.

5.2 Offline Translation
Offline translation allows you to translate without an internet connection. You must download language packs beforehand.
- Download Language Packs:
- Connect your device to Wi-Fi (refer to section 4.2).
- Go to "Settings" from the main screen.
- Tap on "Offline package management".
- Select and download the language packs you need.
- Perform Offline Translation:
- Once language packs are downloaded, you can disconnect from Wi-Fi.
- From the main screen, tap on "Offline Translation".
- Select your original and target languages.
- Long press the corresponding voice input button (red for original, blue for target) and speak.
- Release the button to hear the translation.

5.3 Recording Translation
The device can record conversations and translate them into your desired language.
- From the main screen, tap on "Recording".
- Select the original language (red icon) and target language (blue icon) for the recording.
- Press the "Voice" icon to start recording.
- Press the "Pause" icon to stop recording. You will then be prompted to save the recording.
- To view and translate recordings, tap the list icon to display your saved recordings.
- Tap a recording to play it back. Click the button in the upper right corner to display both the original and translated text.

5.4 Photo Translation
Translate text from images using the device's camera.
- From the main screen, tap on "Photo Translation".
- Select your original and target languages at the top of the screen.
- Aim the camera at the text you wish to translate. Tap the screen to focus.
- Press the "Take Photo" button.
- After analysis, the translated text will be displayed on the screen.

5.5 Group Translation
This feature allows multiple users to communicate in different languages within a group chat.
- From the main screen, tap on "Group Translation".
- Click "Create" to start a new group.
- Input the Group ID to add members (up to 500 people).
- Once members are added, you can perform mutual translation within the group.
5.6 Realtime Translation
For quick, on-the-fly conversations, use Realtime Translation.
- Ensure your device is connected to a network.
- From the main screen, tap on "Realtime Translation".
- Select the original and target languages from the dropdown menus.
- Gently press the red/blue voice input button. When "Please start speak" appears, begin speaking.
- Gently press the button again to end the conversation. The spoken words will be automatically recognized, translated, and broadcast.
- Tap on the screen to replay the conversation.
5.7 AI Assistant (AI XiaoBei)
Engage with the built-in AI Assistant for various queries and tasks.
- From the main screen, tap on "AI Assistant" or "AI XiaoBei".
- Press the voice input button and ask your question (e.g., "What's the weather like today?", "Sing a song").
- The AI Assistant will process your request and provide a response.

- Device not turning on or charging:
- Ensure the device is properly connected to a 5V 1A charger and cable. Check if the charging indicator light is on. If not, try a different cable or adapter. Allow at least 15 minutes of charging before attempting to power on.
- Wi-Fi connection issues:
- Verify that your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz. For mobile hotspots, ensure "Maximize Compatibility" is enabled on iOS or 2.4GHz is selected on Android. Restart the device and your router/hotspot. Re-enter the Wi-Fi password carefully.
- Translation accuracy or speed is low:
- Ensure a strong and stable internet connection for online translation. Speak clearly and at a moderate pace. Check that the correct source and target languages are selected. For offline translation, ensure the necessary language packs are fully downloaded.
- Offline translation not working:
- Confirm that you have downloaded the required offline language packages via "Settings" > "Offline package management" while connected to Wi-Fi.
- Photo translation not recognizing text:
- Ensure good lighting conditions. Hold the device steady and close enough for clear focus. Make sure the text is not too small or blurry. Clean the camera lens if necessary.
- No audio output:
- Check the device's volume settings. Ensure it's not muted. Try restarting the device.
- Device freezing or unresponsive:
- Press and hold the power button for about 10-15 seconds to force a restart.

- Utilize Offline Mode for Privacy and Convenience: If you are concerned about data usage or privacy, or if you anticipate being in areas without internet access, remember to download the necessary offline language packs in advance. This allows you to translate without needing to connect to a network.
- Verify Language Selection: Always double-check that the correct source and target languages are selected before initiating any translation, especially when switching between different modes or conversations.
- Clear Pronunciation: For best voice translation results, speak clearly and at a natural pace. Avoid mumbling or speaking too quickly.
- Optimal Photo Conditions: When using photo translation, ensure the text is well-lit and the camera is held steady to get a clear image for accurate recognition.
