The FITCAMX 4K Dash Cam is a high-resolution car DVR designed for seamless integration and reliable recording. It features 4K UHD video, superior night vision, loop recording, and a G-sensor for collision detection. 4. Setup & Installation

4.1. Physical Installation

The FITCAMX Dash Cam is designed for a perfect, hidden fit, integrating seamlessly with your car's rearview mirror cover. It offers a low-key fashion style, fitting like original accessories without obstructing your view.

4.2. Power Connection (Plug & Play)

The dash cam features a plug-and-play installation, typically connecting to your vehicle's rain sensor. This method ensures easy setup without damaging your vehicle's existing wiring.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Powering On/Off

The dash cam will automatically power on and begin recording when your vehicle starts. The lights on the dash cam will illuminate, indicating it is working correctly. It will power off automatically when the vehicle is turned off.

5.2. Video Recording Features

6. App Usage & Wi-Fi Connection

The FITCAMX dash cam connects to your smartphone via Wi-Fi, allowing you to view live footage, playback recordings, download files, and adjust settings through the dedicated FITCAMX app.

6.1. Connecting to the App:

1. Turn on your car to power the dash cam. The blue indicator lights on the dash cam will turn on.
2. On your smartphone, go to Settings and select Wi-Fi.
3. Look for a Wi-Fi network name starting with "CAR", "LHD", or "CARDV". Select it.
4. Enter the default password: 12345678.
5. Once connected, open the FITCAMX app.
6. In the app, you can see the live view from the dash cam. Tap to view in full screen.
7. Access "Camera File" to view your recorded videos and images. You can playback, download, or delete files.

6.2. App Settings:

Within the FITCAMX app, navigate to "Camera Settings" to customize various options:

• Sound Recording: Toggle audio recording on or off.
• Video Resolution: Select your preferred recording resolution (e.g., 3840x2160 for 4K, 1920x1080).
• Loop Record Options: Adjust the duration of each recorded segment (e.g., 1 minute).
• Exposure Compensation: Fine-tune video brightness.
• Time Watermark: Enable or disable the timestamp on your videos.
• Driving Collision Sensing: Adjust G-sensor sensitivity or disable it.
• Wi-Fi Name/Password: View or change your dash cam's Wi-Fi credentials.
• Firmware Version: Check the current firmware.
• Format SD Card: Format the inserted SD card (this will erase all data).

7. Maintenance

• SD Card Care: Regularly format your SD card (at least once a month) through the app settings to ensure optimal performance and prevent data corruption. Use Class 10 memory cards from reputable brands (SanDisk, KIOXIA, Samsung) for best results.
• Cleaning: Gently wipe the dash cam lens with a soft, lint-free cloth to maintain clear video quality. Avoid using harsh chemicals.
• Temperature: Operate the dash cam within the specified working temperature range of -20°C to 85°C. Extreme temperatures can affect performance and lifespan.

8. Troubleshooting

• Dash Cam Not Turning On: Ensure the power cable is securely connected and your vehicle's ignition is on. Check the indicator lights on the dash cam.
• Wi-Fi Connection Issues: Double-check the Wi-Fi password (default is 12345678). Ensure your phone is close to the dash cam. Restart both the dash cam (by restarting the car) and your phone's Wi-Fi.
• Video Quality Issues: Ensure the lens is clean. Check the video resolution settings in the app. If using a non-recommended SD card, it might affect performance.
• Footage Not Saving/Corrupted: Format the SD card via the app. If the issue persists, try a new, compatible Class 10 SD card from a recommended brand.
• G-Sensor Not Triggering/Too Sensitive: Adjust the "Driving Collision Sensing" sensitivity in the app settings.

• Verify Compatibility: Before purchasing or installing, always provide your vehicle's exact model, year, and a photo of the rearview mirror cover to ensure the perfect fit for your specific car.
