1. Safety and General Installation Instructions
To prevent damage to the unit and potential injury, read this manual carefully and follow all installation instructions. This product has been checked for proper function prior to shipping and is guaranteed against manufacturing defects.
Before Installation:
- Disconnect the vehicle battery's negative terminal to prevent damage to the unit, fire, and/or risk of injury.
- For proper performance and full warranty coverage, installation by an authorized SENNUOPU dealer is strongly recommended.
- Install the DS-M10 in a dry location with sufficient air circulation for proper cooling.
- Secure the amplifier to a solid mounting surface using appropriate hardware.
- Before mounting, carefully examine the area around and behind the proposed installation location to ensure no electrical cables, components, hydraulic brake lines, or fuel tank parts are located behind the mounting surface. Failure to do so may result in unpredictable damage and costly repairs.
Wiring Guidelines:
- The DS-M10 amplifier is designed for vehicles with a 12 Volt negative terminal connected to the chassis ground. Any other system may cause damage.
- The positive cable from the battery for the complete system should be provided with a main fuse at a distance of max. 30 cm from the battery. The fuse value should be calculated based on the maximum total current input of the car audio system.
- Use only suitable cables with sufficient cross-section.
- Fuses may only be replaced by identically rated fuses.
- Plan wire routing to avoid damage to the wire harness. Protect all cabling against crushing or pinching hazards.
- Avoid routing cables close to potential noise sources such as electric motors, high power accessories, and other vehicle harnesses.

3. Initial Start-up and Functions
Input Channels and Interfaces:
- RCA Input Channels (①): Connect to RCA Audio signal output of an on-board CD/DVD player.
- RCA Output Channels (②): Connect to an external power amplifier.
- USB Input (③): Connect your personal computer to the DS-M10 using the provided USB cable. The required PC software for configuring the amplifier can be downloaded from the SENNUOPU website. For USB sound card playback, you can connect your computer or other audio players via USB. For iPhones, a Lightning to USB adapter cable can be used. For Android phones, a USB OTG data cable can be used. This allows for 192kHz/24bit Hi-Res high-resolution audio quality.
- Mode indicator light / Bluetooth indicator light (④): Indicates the current operating mode or Bluetooth status.
- Remote control interface (⑤): This interface is for an optional remote control, compatible only with Sennuopu products. It needs to be purchased separately.
- U-Disk interface (⑥): Supports lossless digital playback of MP3, WMA, WAV, FLAC, etc. Download music to a USB flash drive and plug it in for direct playback.
- Optical Input (⑦): SPDIF format for connecting digital audio sources. Sampling rate must be between 12 and 96 kHz. The input signal is automatically adapted. Note: This amplifier handles stereo input signals only; no MP3 or Dolby-coded digital audio streams.
Power-on Mode Switch (⑩):
- When switched to “ACC” end, the machine will start with the vehicle's accessory power.
- When switched to “HIGH” end, the machine will start via high-level input signal H1- / H1+.
Output and Input Connections:
- Highlevel Output (⑫): Speaker outputs (1-8) for connecting speaker systems. These are Class AB power amplifiers with RMS power ≤1% THD+N, 50 watts per channel @ 4Ω. The impedance per channel must not be lower than 4 Ohms.
- Highlevel Input (⑬): 8 channel high-level loudspeaker input to connect the amplifier directly to loudspeaker outputs of OEM/aftermarket radios or amplifiers that lack pre-amplifier outputs.

4. PC Tuning Interface
The DS-M10 features a comprehensive PC tuning interface for precise audio customization. The software interface is divided into four main areas:
- A: Equalizer Area: Adjust individual EQ parameters for each channel.
- B: Filter Area: Configure filter types, slopes, and frequencies.
- C: Volume Control Area: Manage main and individual channel volume levels.
- D: Delay Control Area: Set time alignment and delay for optimal sound staging.
This 10-channel equalizer allows for individual adjustment of EQ, frequency, slope, phase, and delay for each channel. Accurate tuning can significantly improve sound quality and volume, making music clearer and more dynamic, tailored to personal preferences.

5. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Sennuopu DS-M10 amplifier, follow these general maintenance guidelines:
- Keep Dry: Always ensure the amplifier is installed in a dry environment and protected from moisture.
- Proper Ventilation: Maintain sufficient air circulation around the unit to prevent overheating. Do not block ventilation openings.
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the amplifier. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Cable Integrity: Periodically inspect all wiring for any signs of wear, damage, or loose connections. Ensure all connections are secure.
- Fuse Replacement: Only replace fuses with identically rated fuses to prevent damage to the amplifier.
6. Troubleshooting
While the Sennuopu DS-M10 is designed for reliability, should you encounter any issues, consider the following general troubleshooting steps. For complex problems, it is recommended to consult an authorized Sennuopu dealer.
- No Power:
- Check all power connections (GND, +12V, REMO, ACC) to ensure they are secure and correctly wired.
- Verify the main fuse near the battery is intact and not blown.
- Ensure the power-on mode switch (ACC/HIGH) is set correctly for your vehicle's setup.
- No Sound Output:
- Check all RCA and high-level input/output connections to speakers and source units.
- Confirm the source unit is playing audio and its volume is up.
- Verify the MUTE indicator light is off.
- Check the PC tuning software for correct channel routing, volume levels, and mute settings.
- Ensure speaker impedance is not below 4 Ohms.
- Distorted Sound:
- Check input signal levels to prevent clipping.
- Review PC tuning software settings, especially EQ and filter configurations, for any extreme adjustments.
- Inspect speaker wiring for shorts or damage.
- Bluetooth Connection Issues:
- Ensure the Bluetooth indicator light is active.
- Verify the device is in pairing mode or already paired.
- Check for interference from other wireless devices.
Failures or damages caused by overload or improper use are not covered by the warranty. Always ensure proper installation and operation.
