6. Installation
Follow these steps for proper installation of your ventilator fan. A simple installation requires a 160mm diameter hole.

Figure 6.1: Ventilator mounting diagram.
- Prepare the Wall Opening: Drill a circular hole with a diameter of 160mm (as shown in Figure 6.1, step 1). Ensure the hole is clean and free of debris.
- Position the Ducting: Insert the extendable ducting into the wall opening. Ensure the outdoor intake face is positioned correctly (as shown in Figure 6.1, step 2). For optimal drainage, ensure a slight downward slope (approx. 2%) towards the outside.
- Seal the Ducting: Apply a rubber sleeve with adhesive sealant around the ducting to ensure an airtight and waterproof seal (as shown in Figure 6.1, step 3).
- Install the Mounting Plate: Secure the mounting plate to the indoor wall, aligning it with the ducting (as shown in Figure 6.1, step 4).
- Insert Filters: Place the G4 filter, HEPA filter, and Active Carbon filter into their designated slots within the unit (as shown in Figure 6.1, step 5).
- Attach the Main Unit: Connect the main ventilator unit to the mounting plate and secure it. Finally, attach the magnetic front panel (as shown in Figure 6.1, step 6).
