  • Regularly check all wiring connections to ensure they are secure.
  • Clean the device exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals.
  • Ensure the SIM card slot cover is always securely closed to maintain waterproofing.

8. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your TrackerKing EC35, consider the following common troubleshooting steps:

  • No Power/Device Not Turning On: Check all power connections. Ensure the vehicle's battery is charged and providing power within the 9V-80V range. Verify the internal switch is ON.
  • No GPS Signal: Ensure the device is placed with its front side facing the sky and has a clear view of the sky. Avoid installation under metallic obstructions (e.g., metal-tinted windshields). Allow up to 45 seconds for a cold start to acquire GPS signal.
  • No GSM Signal: Check if the SIM card is correctly inserted and has GPRS function enabled and sufficient balance. Ensure you are in an area with 4G/2G network coverage.
  • Inaccurate Tracking: This could be due to poor GPS signal. Relocate the device to a more open area.
  • Alarms Not Functioning: Verify that the specific alarm settings (e.g., Geo-fence, Over-speed, Vibration, Low Battery, ACC ignition) are correctly configured via SMS commands or the tracking platform/app.
  • Remote Engine Cut-off Not Working: Ensure the yellow wire is correctly connected to the 12/24V relay and the relay is functioning. Check the SMS command syntax or app command status.

If problems persist, please consult the full user manual PDF or contact customer support.

9. User Tips

  • Optimal Placement: While the device is waterproof, placing it in a location that minimizes direct exposure to extreme elements (e.g., direct sun for prolonged periods, heavy vibrations) can extend its lifespan.
  • SIM Card Management: Regularly check your SIM card's balance and data plan to ensure uninterrupted tracking service.
  • Platform Features: Explore all features of the TrackerKing web platform and mobile app, such as historical route playback, geo-fence setup, and various alert configurations, to maximize the utility of your tracker.
