Maintenance

Cleaning

To maintain the appearance of your watch, wipe it regularly with a soft, dry cloth. For the stainless steel and ceramic band, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by immediate drying. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

Water Resistance

Your OLEVS 9999 watch is water-resistant up to 30 meters (3 ATM). This means it is suitable for daily use, such as accidental splashes or brief immersion in water. However, it is not recommended for swimming, showering, or diving. Avoid exposing the watch to warm or hot water, as this can compromise the seals.

Battery Replacement

The watch is powered by a quartz movement with an included battery. When the watch stops running, the battery may need to be replaced. It is recommended to have the battery replaced by a qualified watch technician to ensure the water resistance is maintained.

Troubleshooting

  • Watch not running: Check if the crown is fully pushed in. If it is, the battery may need replacement.
  • Date not changing: Ensure the crown is in the first gear position and rotated correctly. If the date changes at noon, adjust the time by 12 hours.
  • Chronograph not resetting to zero: This may require a simple reset procedure. Consult a watch technician if the issue persists after pressing the reset button.
  • Condensation under the crystal: This indicates a loss of water resistance. Have the watch inspected by a professional immediately to prevent damage to the movement.
