This manual provides essential information for safe installation, operation, and maintenance of your new lighting unit.

2. Safety Information

  • Always connect the unit to a grounded power outlet.
  • Ensure the power supply voltage matches the specified voltage range (AC 110-250V, 50/60Hz).
  • Do not open the housing; there are no user-serviceable parts inside. Refer all servicing to qualified personnel.
  • Avoid direct eye exposure to the light source.
  • Ensure adequate ventilation around the fixture to prevent overheating.
  • Mount the fixture securely using appropriate clamps and always use a safety cable when suspending the unit.
  • Keep the unit away from flammable materials, liquids, and excessive moisture.
  • Disconnect from power before cleaning or performing any maintenance.

4. Setup

4.1 Unpacking and Inspection

Carefully unpack the fixture and inspect it for any damage during transit. Ensure all accessories are present. If any damage is found, contact your supplier immediately.

4.2 Physical Installation

The fixture is designed for self-contained installation. It can be mounted on a truss or placed on a stable surface. Always ensure the mounting surface or structure can support the weight of the fixture (Net Weight: 16.5 kg).

4.3 Connections

The unit features standard power and DMX connections. Refer to Figure 5 for port locations.

  • Power Connection: Connect the provided power cable to the 'POWER IN' port and a suitable grounded power outlet (AC 110-250V, 50/60Hz). Use the 'POWER OUT' port to daisy-chain power to other compatible fixtures.
  • DMX Connection: Use a 3-pin DMX cable to connect the 'DMX OUT' of your DMX controller to the 'DMX IN' of the first fixture. For multiple fixtures, daisy-chain from 'DMX OUT' of one fixture to 'DMX IN' of the next.

5. Operating Instructions

The LED 380W 20R Beam Moving Head Light offers multiple control modes and features accessible via its LCD display.

5.1 Control Modes

The fixture supports the following control modes:

  • DMX512: For professional control via a DMX controller, utilizing 16 channels.
  • Master-Slave: Link multiple fixtures where one acts as the master and others follow its programming.
  • Self-Propelled: Built-in automated programs for standalone operation.
  • Voice Control: Reacts to sound for dynamic effects.

5.2 LCD Display Navigation

The LCD display and control buttons allow for easy configuration of the fixture's settings.

Use the 'UP', 'DOWN', 'LEFT', 'RIGHT' arrows to navigate through the menu options and 'OK' to confirm selections. The 'DMX' and 'ERR' indicators provide status feedback.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

Regular cleaning of the fixture is essential to maintain optimal performance and extend its lifespan. Use a soft, lint-free cloth to wipe down the exterior. For optical components (lens, gobos, prisms), use a specialized lens cleaner and cloth to avoid scratches.

6.2 Lamp Replacement

The fixture uses a 380W 20R lamp with an estimated lifetime of 8000 hours. Lamp replacement should only be performed by qualified technicians. Always disconnect power and allow the fixture to cool completely before attempting any lamp replacement.

6.3 General Inspection

Periodically check all mounting hardware, cables, and connections for wear or damage. Ensure all screws are tightened. Any damaged parts should be replaced immediately.

7. Troubleshooting

  • No Power: Check the power cable connection, the power outlet, and the fuse on the unit. Ensure the 'ON/OFF' switch is in the 'ON' position.
  • No Light Output: Verify the lamp is functioning. Check dimming settings and ensure no blackout mode is active.
  • No DMX Control: Ensure DMX cables are correctly connected (DMX IN/OUT). Check DMX addressing on the fixture and controller. Verify the DMX signal is active from the controller.
  • Fixture Not Responding: Try resetting the fixture by turning it off and on. If issues persist, check for error messages on the LCD display and consult the full technical manual or contact support.
  • Overheating: Ensure proper ventilation and that no vents are blocked. Reduce ambient temperature if possible. The fixture has over-heat protection.

10. Warranty and Support

10.1 Warranty Information

All products come with a 2-year warranty. This warranty covers all spare parts during the warranty period, with the exception of the lamp. Buyers are responsible for freight costs associated with warranty claims. After the warranty period, replacement parts will be provided at cost, with freight paid by the buyer.

Please note that defects due to improper installation or improper use are not covered by the warranty. Any physical damage will void your warranty.
