6. Maintenance

6.1. Cleaning the Keyboard

  • Disconnect the keyboard from your device before cleaning.
  • Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or a mild cleaning solution to wipe the keycaps and casing.
  • For dust and debris between keycaps, use compressed air or a small brush.
  • Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, as they may damage the keyboard's finish.

The Light75 keyboard features hot-swappable switches, allowing you to easily change switches without soldering. PBT keycaps can also be replaced.

  1. Keycap Removal: Use a keycap puller to gently pull up on the keycap until it detaches from the switch stem.

7. Troubleshooting

7.1. Keyboard Not Responding

  • Wired Mode: Ensure the USB-C cable is securely connected to both the keyboard and the computer. Try a different USB port or cable.
  • 2.4G Wireless Mode: Ensure the 2.4G USB receiver is securely plugged into a USB port. Check that the keyboard is switched to 2.4G mode (WiFi icon). Try re-pairing by long-pressing Fn + 4 for 3 seconds.
  • Bluetooth Mode: Ensure the keyboard is switched to BT mode. Check that it's paired correctly (Fn + 1/2/3). If already paired, try reconnecting from your device's Bluetooth settings. If issues persist, remove the device from your Bluetooth list and re-pair.
  • Battery: Ensure the keyboard battery is charged. Connect the keyboard via USB-C to charge.

7.2. Backlight Not Working or Incorrect

  • Check backlight luminance settings using Fn + ↑/↓.
  • Cycle through different backlight modes using Fn + Ins.
  • Ensure the keyboard is not in a low-power state where backlighting might be disabled to conserve battery.

7.3. Keys Not Registering or Double-Typing

  • This could indicate a faulty switch. Since the keyboard is hot-swappable, try removing and re-inserting the problematic switch. If the issue persists, replace the switch.
  • Ensure the keycap is properly seated on the switch stem.
