4. Setup and Installation

4.1 Dashcam Installation

The ACCEO B63 is a portable dashcam suitable for all vehicles. It attaches to your windshield using 3M adhesive for stable adhesion without peeling off.

  1. Clean the area on your windshield where you intend to mount the dashcam.
  2. Peel off the protective film from the 3M adhesive on the dashcam mount.
  3. Firmly press the dashcam onto the cleaned area of the windshield.
  4. Route the power cable: Insert the connecting wire into the gap of the roof lining of the front windshield.
  5. Take out the seal on the glass and the co-pilot cover to hide the cable.
  6. Insert the connecting wire into the card slot.
  7. Plug the 12V-24V power adapter into the vehicle’s 12V power (Cigarette Lighter) port.

Note:

  • Always use the original factory standard adapter charger.
  • The device will start once the car engine launches.
  • Do not personally dismantle the machine to avoid affecting the warranty.

4.2 GPS Module Connection (Optional)

If your model includes a GPS module, connect it to the dashcam using the TYPE-C interface on the car charger.

This video demonstrates the physical installation of the dashcam, including attaching it to the windshield with 3M adhesive, connecting the car charger, and connecting the external GPS module via the car charger's TYPE-C interface. It also shows the GPS module connecting to the dashcam.

4.3 Rear Camera Installation (Optional)

If your model includes a rear camera, connect it to the dashcam. The rear camera cable supports up to 15 meters. For wiring, please note the following:

  • Connect the rear camera cable to the designated port on the dashcam.
  • Important: Ignore the red wire on the rear camera cable; it does not need to be connected for this dashcam model.
  • Route the rear camera cable carefully to the back of your vehicle.
  • Mount the rear camera in the desired position, typically near the license plate or on the rear windshield.

Warning:

  • Due to different car models, professional assistance is recommended for rear camera installation.
  • Ensure installation is strictly in accordance with instructions to prevent damage to the recorder.

4.4 Hardwire Kit Installation for 24H Parking Monitoring (Optional)

The Hardwire Kit allows for 24-hour parking monitoring and frees up your cigarette lighter interface. You will need to identify two fuse slots in your car's fuse box:

  1. **Constant Power Fuse Slot:** This slot provides continuous power. The RED wire of the hardwire kit will connect here.
  2. **ACC Position Power Fuse Slot:** This slot provides power only when your key is turned to the ACC (Accessory) position. The YELLOW wire of the hardwire kit will connect here.
  3. **Ground Connection:** Connect the BLACK wire of the hardwire kit to a grounding screw or bolt on your vehicle's chassis.

Note:

  • The negative pole (GND Negative) of the hardwire kit is typically connected to the car's metal chassis, often by opening the plastic cover of the door frame on the left side of the fuse box and securing it with a screw.
  • The DVR is compatible with 12V power supplies only. Using a 24V power supply directly will damage the motherboard. If your vehicle uses 24V, you must use a 24V to 12V converter (Buck Line).

5. Operation

5.1 Basic Recording

The dashcam automatically starts recording when your vehicle's engine is turned on and power is supplied. It records video in 4K resolution for the front camera and 1080P for the rear camera (if installed).

5.2 Wi-Fi and App Control

The ACCEO B63 features built-in Wi-Fi for seamless control and management via a dedicated mobile application (Viidure APP) on your iOS or Android device.

  1. **Download the App:** Scan the QR code displayed on the dashcam screen or in the manual, or search for "Viidure APP" in your phone's app store.
  2. **Connect to Wi-Fi:** Open your phone's Wi-Fi settings, find the network named "Dashcam-******" (where ****** is a unique identifier), and enter the default Wi-Fi password "12345678".
  3. **Access Features:** Once connected, open the Viidure app. You can view live footage, play recorded videos, manage settings, record video, take screenshots, edit videos, and share content directly to social media.

5.3 GPS Recording (Optional)

With the optional GPS module connected, the dashcam records your driving speed, direction, and coordinates. This information is embedded in the video footage and can be viewed via the app, providing a reliable record of your journey.

5.4 Wide Dynamic Range (WDR)

The dashcam utilizes WDR technology to ensure optimal video and image quality in challenging lighting conditions, such as strong backlighting or very dark environments. This feature balances exposure to prevent overexposed bright spots and underexposed dark areas.

5.5 Loop Recording

When loop recording is enabled, the dashcam continuously records video. Once the memory card is full, the oldest video files are automatically overwritten by new recordings. However, videos recorded under special conditions (e.g., triggered by G-Sensor or Parking Monitoring) are protected and will not be overwritten.

5.6 Time Lapse Video Function (Requires Hardwire Kit)

The time-lapse video function significantly extends recording time and conserves memory card space. In this mode, the dashcam records at a lower frame rate (e.g., 1 frame per second), allowing a 16GB memory card to record for up to 30 hours (compared to 90 minutes in normal 30FPS mode). This is ideal for extended parking monitoring.

5.7 Parking Monitor (Requires Hardwire Kit)

When the hardwire kit is installed, the dashcam can monitor your vehicle for 24 hours. If an impact is detected while parked (via the G-Sensor), the dashcam will automatically turn on and record the event, providing crucial evidence.

6. Maintenance

  • **Cleaning:** Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the dashcam lens and screen. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • **Memory Card:** Regularly format your Micro SD card (at least once a month) to ensure optimal performance and prevent data corruption. Back up any important videos before formatting.
  • **Firmware Updates:** Check the manufacturer's website or app periodically for firmware updates to ensure your dashcam has the latest features and bug fixes.
  • **Temperature:** Avoid exposing the dashcam to extreme temperatures for prolonged periods, as this can affect battery life and device performance.

7. Troubleshooting

  • **Dashcam not turning on/off automatically:** Ensure the dashcam is connected to a 12V power supply. A 24V power supply will damage the device; use a 24V to 12V converter if necessary.
  • **Poor video quality or recording issues:** Make sure you are using a high-quality Class 10 Micro SD card (16GB to 256GB). Low-quality or slow-speed cards can cause recording failures or poor performance.
  • **Rear camera not working:** Only the original ACCEO rear camera is guaranteed to work with this dashcam due to chipset and sensor compatibility. Ensure it is correctly connected.
  • **Device overheating:** Ensure proper ventilation around the dashcam. If using a hardwire kit, verify correct installation to prevent power issues.
  • **Wi-Fi connection issues:** Double-check the Wi-Fi password ("12345678") and ensure your phone is within range of the dashcam's Wi-Fi signal.
  • **GPS not displaying speed/location:** Ensure the optional GPS module is correctly connected to the dashcam.
  • **Device not responding:** Try resetting the device by pressing and holding the power button for 10-15 seconds, or by disconnecting and reconnecting the power supply.
  • **Warranty invalidation:** Do not attempt to dismantle the dashcam yourself, as this will void the warranty.

8. User Tips

  • **Optimal SD Card:** Invest in a high-endurance, reputable brand Class 10 Micro SD card for reliable recording, especially for 4K video.
  • **Cable Management:** Use the included tools or purchase cable clips to neatly tuck away power and rear camera cables along the car's trim to avoid obstructing your view and for a cleaner look.
  • **Regular Checks:** Periodically check the dashcam's screen or app to ensure it is recording correctly and the lens is clean.
  • **Parking Mode Setup:** If using the hardwire kit for parking monitoring, ensure the sensitivity of the G-Sensor is set appropriately to avoid excessive recordings from minor bumps or wind, which can fill up the memory card quickly.
  • **App Features:** Explore all features of the Viidure app, including video editing and sharing, to make the most of your dashcam's capabilities.
