1. Setup
1.1 Package Contents
Before you begin, please ensure all items are present in the package:
- Janmifly R69 Plus TV Box
- Power Adapter
- Remote Control
- HDMI Cable
- User Manual (this document)

1.2 Connecting the TV Box
Follow these steps to connect your Janmifly R69 Plus TV Box to your television:
- Turn on your TV and set the input source to "HDMI" mode.
- Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the "HD" port on the TV Box and the other end to an available HDMI input on your TV.
- Connect the power adapter to the "DC/5V" port on the TV Box and then plug the adapter into a power outlet. The device will automatically boot into the Android OS.
- If using a wireless mouse or keyboard, connect its receiver to one of the USB ports on the TV Box.

1.3 Power Plug Options
The TV Box supports various power plug types depending on your region:

1.4 BT Voice Controller Pairing
To pair the BT voice controller with your TV Box:
- Ensure the TV Box is powered on and close to the remote control.
- Press and hold the 'LEFT' and 'RIGHT' buttons on the remote control simultaneously for 3 seconds.
- Release the buttons after the remote control indicator light starts flashing. The remote will automatically pair with the TV Box.

2. Operating Instructions
2.1 Power On/Off and Sleep Mode
- Power On: After connecting the device and cables, the power LED will turn blue, indicating the device is on.
- Sleep Mode: Under power-on mode, press the remote control's power button to enter sleep mode.
- Wake Up: From sleep mode, press the remote control's power button to wake the device.
- Power Off: Disconnect the device and cables to turn off the power LED.
2.2 Navigating and Opening Applications
- Use the remote control's arrow keys to navigate through the interface.
- Press the 'OK' button to select and open a program or application.
2.3 Returning to Home Screen
- Click the Home icon on the remote control to return to the home screen.
2.4 Reading External Storage Data
The TV Box supports reading data from USB flash drives and SD cards.
- USB Disk: Insert a USB flash drive or removable hard disk into a USB port. A USB icon will appear in the top-left corner of the desktop. Open "File Manager" to access the identified USB drive under "Local Disk".
- SD Card: Insert an SD card into the device. An SD card icon will appear in the top-left corner of the desktop. Open "File Manager" to access the identified SD card under "Local Disk".
2.5 Network Configuration
2.5.1 Wi-Fi Connection
- From the Home Screen, navigate to Settings > Network & Internet.
- Select "Wi-Fi" to enable the Wi-Fi function.
- Choose your desired Wi-Fi hotspot from the list, input the password, and connect to the network.
2.5.2 Ethernet Connection
- From the Home Screen, navigate to Settings > Network & Internet.
- Select "Ethernet".
- Insert an Ethernet cable into the LAN port on the TV Box. The network will connect automatically.
2.6 Language Settings
To change the system language:
- Go to Settings > Device Preferences > Language.
- Select your preferred language from the multi-language options.
2.7 Application Management
The TV Box comes with pre-installed applications and allows for further expansion:
- Pre-installed Apps: Access applications like Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video, Google Play Store, etc., from the Apps menu.
- Downloading Apps: You can download additional applications from the Google Play Store, APKPure, and Aptoide TV.
2.8 Screen Casting
The TV Box supports screen casting from your smartphone or tablet:
- Preparation: Ensure your mobile device and the TV Box are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
- AirScreen: Primarily used for Apple phones.
- Miracast: Available for Android phones.
- Usage: Follow the on-screen prompts on your TV Box and mobile device to initiate screen casting.

2.9 Smarter Voice Control with Google Assistant
The TV Box integrates with Google Assistant for voice commands:
- After pairing the voice remote (see Section 1.4), click the voice button on the remote.
- A voice bar prompt will appear on the TV screen.
- Long-press the voice button and speak your command into the remote control. Release the button once you've finished speaking, and Google Assistant will execute your command.

2.10 Media Playback and Streaming
The Janmifly R69 Plus TV Box supports various media functions:
- Local Media: Supports playback from HDD, USB flash drives, and TF cards.
- Streaming: Access popular streaming services like Prime Video, Netflix, Google TV, YouTube, Hulu, and more.
- High Definition: Supports 4K/8K H.265 ultra-high-definition content for a stunning visual experience.
- 3D Movies: Enjoy 3D movies at home.

3. Maintenance
3.1 Factory Reset
If you encounter persistent issues or wish to restore the device to its original settings, you can perform a factory reset:
- Go to Settings > Device Preferences > About.
- Select Factory reset.
- Confirm your choice to proceed with the reset.
Note: A factory reset will erase all user data and installed applications.
4. Troubleshooting
4.1 Netflix Usage
If you are having trouble using Netflix:
- Ensure the TV Box is connected to the internet.
- Find the Netflix icon, click it, and switch the remote to mouse mode (if applicable).
- Enter your account password when prompted.
- Log in successfully and switch the remote back to normal mode to watch.
4.2 Remote Cannot Navigate on Some Apps
Some Android TV apps are designed for touchscreens or mouse input, making navigation difficult with a standard remote. If this occurs:
- Connect an external mouse or a wireless keyboard to control the app.
- Alternatively, click the mouse mode button on the remote control to switch to mouse mode for easier navigation.
4.3 TV Box Needs Restarting After Extended Use
If the TV Box becomes slow or unresponsive after a period of use, it may be due to incompatible apps or damaged data. It is recommended to perform a "factory data recovery" in the settings (see Section 3.1).

6. User Tips
- For optimal performance, ensure your TV Box is connected to a Wi-Fi 6 compatible router to take full advantage of the faster speeds and lower latency.
- When navigating apps that are difficult with the standard remote, consider using an external wireless mouse for a smoother experience.
- Regularly check for OTA (Over-The-Air) updates in the settings to ensure your device has the latest features and security patches.
