1. Introduction

3. Product Overview

3.1 Front Panel Controls and Ports

3.3 Retractable Screen Mechanism

The 7-inch screen is designed to retract into the single DIN unit. This mechanism allows for flexible viewing angles and compact storage when not in use. To retract or extend the screen, gently push or pull the screen as indicated by the mechanism. Refer to the manual stretch image for visual guidance.

4. Installation

Important: Professional installation is highly recommended. Incorrect wiring can damage the device or your vehicle. Disconnect the vehicle's battery before starting installation.

4.1 General Wiring Guidelines

  • Power Cable: Connect the yellow wire to the constant 12V power supply, the red wire to the accessory 12V power supply (switched with ignition), and the black wire to ground.
  • Speaker Cable: Connect the speaker wires according to their polarity (+/-) to the corresponding vehicle speakers.
  • GPS Antenna: Connect the GPS antenna to the dedicated port on the rear panel and mount it in a location with a clear view of the sky (e.g., dashboard).
  • Radio Antenna: Connect your vehicle's radio antenna to the radio antenna port.
  • Rear View Camera (Optional): If installing a rear view camera, connect its video output to the "Astern camera input" on the rear panel. The camera's power should be connected to the vehicle's reverse light circuit so it activates when reverse gear is engaged.
  • External Microphone (Optional): If using an external microphone, connect it to the 3.5mm external microphone port.
  • Steering Wheel Control (SWC): Connect the SWC wires from the car radio to your vehicle's steering wheel control interface (if applicable). Configuration may be required in the system settings.

4.2 Mounting the Unit

The unit is a standard 1-DIN size. Use the provided brackets and disassemble keys to secure the unit into your vehicle's dashboard opening. Ensure it is firmly seated to prevent vibrations.

5. Initial Setup

5.1 Powering On

After successful installation, reconnect the vehicle's battery. Turn on your vehicle's ignition. The car radio should power on automatically. If not, press the PWR/MUT button on the front panel.

5.2 Language Settings

Upon first boot, you may be prompted to select your preferred language. If not, navigate to Settings > System > Languages & input to choose from the supported languages: Chinese, English, French, Italian, Korean, Japanese, Arabic, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Turkish, Vietnamese, Hebrew, Polish, German, Dutch, Czech, Romanian, Swedish, Slovenian, Hungarian, Danish, Bulgarian, Irish.

5.3 Time and Date Setting

The device can automatically set the time and date via network or GPS. Ensure Wi-Fi or GPS is connected. Alternatively, you can manually adjust the time and date in Settings > System > Date & time.

5.4 Wi-Fi Connection

To enable online features like Google Maps and app downloads, connect to a Wi-Fi network:

  1. Go to Settings > Network & internet > Wi-Fi.
  2. Turn on Wi-Fi.
  3. Select your desired network from the list and enter the password if required.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Wireless Carplay & Android Auto

Connect your iPhone or Android phone wirelessly to access Carplay or Android Auto. This allows you to use phone apps, make calls, send messages, play music, and navigate using voice commands or the touch screen.

6.2 GPS Navigation

The unit comes with built-in offline maps. With Wi-Fi connected, you can also use online navigation apps like Google Maps. Access navigation directly via the NAVI button or the corresponding app icon on the home screen.

6.3 Bluetooth Functionality

Pair your smartphone via Bluetooth for hands-free calls, music streaming (A2DP), and automatic phonebook loading.

  1. Press the BT button or select the Bluetooth icon on the screen.
  2. Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone and search for available devices.
  3. Select the car radio (usually named "Camecho" or similar) and pair.
  4. Once connected, you can make/receive calls and play music wirelessly.

6.4 FM/RDS Radio

Tune into your favorite radio stations with clear sound and RDS information (if available).

  • Press the Radio icon on the screen or the BAND button to enter radio mode.
  • Use the touch screen or physical controls to search for stations.
  • The unit supports auto-search and allows saving up to 108 preset stations across FM1, FM2, and FM3 bands.

6.5 Mirror Link

Project your smartphone screen onto the car radio display via USB cable or Wi-Fi. This allows you to view your phone's content directly on the larger screen.

6.6 Multimedia Playback (Audio/Video)

The unit supports various audio (APE/FLAC/WAV/MP3/WMA) and video (MKV/RMVB/AVI/MP4/MDV) formats. Play media from connected USB devices.

6.7 Steering Wheel Control

If your vehicle supports steering wheel controls and they are correctly wired, you can configure them in the system settings to control the car radio's functions (e.g., volume, track change, mode). Navigate to Settings > Car settings > Steering wheel learning to map the buttons.

6.8 Rear View Camera (Optional)

If an optional rear view camera is installed, the screen will automatically switch to the camera feed when the vehicle is put into reverse gear, making parking easier and safer.

6.9 Split Screen

7. Maintenance

  • Screen Cleaning: Use a soft, lint-free cloth to clean the touch screen. For stubborn smudges, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a screen-safe cleaner. Avoid harsh chemicals.
  • General Cleaning: Wipe the unit's exterior with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
  • Software Updates: Periodically check for system updates via Wi-Fi in the device settings to ensure optimal performance and access to new features.
  • Resetting the Unit: If the unit becomes unresponsive, use a thin object to press the RST (Reset) button on the front panel. This will restart the device without erasing data.
