This battery is designed for off-grid solar photovoltaic energy storage systems and is assembled with 16 brand new 3.2V 300Ah lithium iron phosphate battery cells.

The integrated Battery Management System (BMS) has been completely upgraded, offering advanced protection functions and remote monitoring capabilities via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.

2. Important Safety Warnings

  • Do not attempt to open, disassemble, or modify the battery pack.
  • Ensure proper ventilation around the battery during operation and charging.
  • Avoid exposing the battery to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, or moisture.
  • Use only compatible charging equipment and inverters.
  • Do not connect batteries in series. This battery supports parallel connection only.
  • In case of fire, use a suitable fire extinguisher for lithium-ion batteries (e.g., Class D or CO2). The battery is equipped with an advanced gas fire extinguishing device for rapid release of inert gases to inhibit thermal runaway.

5. Setup and Installation

5.1. Unpacking and Placement

  1. Carefully unpack the battery unit from its wooden case following the provided unpacking instructions.
  2. Place the battery on a stable, level surface in a well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and moisture.
  3. Ensure sufficient clearance around the battery for air circulation and maintenance.

5.2. Component Identification

Familiarize yourself with the main components of the battery unit:

  1. Cover: Protective casing of the battery.
  2. Weak Switch: Main power switch for the battery.

5.3. Parallel Connection

The SJY LiFePO4 battery supports parallel connection to achieve greater energy capacity. Up to 32 batteries can be connected in parallel. Important: Do NOT connect batteries in series.

5.4. Inverter Compatibility and Connection

This battery supports both CAN and RS485 communication protocols and is compatible with over 20 different brands of inverters, including Growatt, Pylontech, Deye, Invt, Luxpowertek, Voltronic Power, Goodwe, Solis, SVC Energy, SRNE, Victron Energy, Must, Sako, and Sofar.

Each photovoltaic panel needs to be connected to an independent system when using multiple inverters in parallel.

5.5. Initial Charging

Before first use, ensure the battery is fully charged according to the inverter's instructions and the battery's charging temperature limits (0°C to 55°C).

6. Operation

6.1. Powering On/Off

Use the independent 'Weak Switch' (2) on the battery unit to turn the system on or off as needed. The 'Power Indicator Light' (8) will show the power status.

6.2. Monitoring with LCD Display

The 'Display Screen' (3) provides a clear digital display of the battery's operational parameters, making it easy to read and monitor key information.

6.3. Smart Connectivity (Bluetooth & Wi-Fi)

The advanced intelligent BMS allows for remote connection and monitoring of the battery's operating status via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Download the dedicated mobile application to access detailed information such as:

  • Basic Info: Pack Voltage, Current, State of Charge (SOC), Rated Capacity, Full Capacity, Remaining Capacity, Cycle Index, Parallel Num.
  • Volt & Temp: Individual cell voltages and pack cell temperatures (T1, T2, T3, T4).
  • System Info: Detailed system parameters.
  • Inverter Protocol Selection: Choose between CAN and RS485 protocols for various inverter brands (e.g., Pylon, Growatt, GoodWe, Sofar).

6.4. BMS Protection Functions

The BMS offers over 20 battery protection functions to ensure the battery operates in a safe environment. These include, but are not limited to, over-charge protection, over-discharge protection, over-current protection, short-circuit protection, and temperature protection.

7. Maintenance

  • 5 months @ 25°C
  • 3 months @ 35°C
  • 1 month @ 45°C

Avoid storing the battery in temperatures outside the 0°C to 45°C range.
