Figure 2: The mini remote switch (K2) measures approximately 41mm x 41mm x 20mm, making it suitable for various mounting boxes.

2.2 Installation Steps

  1. Power Off: Before any electrical work, ensure the main power supply to the circuit is turned off at the breaker.
  2. Placement: The mini relay receiver can be placed directly behind your existing mechanical wall switch.
  3. Mini Remote Switch installation behind a wall switch
Figure 3: The mini relay receiver is designed to fit discreetly behind a standard wall switch.
  4. Wiring: Connect the mini relay receiver according to the wiring diagram. A neutral wire is required for proper operation. This device only supports RF433 MHZ.
  5. Wiring diagram for two-way control with the Mini Remote Switch

  8. Power On: Once wiring is complete and secure, restore power to the circuit.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Pairing the Remote Control

  1. Clear Existing Signal (if necessary): Press and hold the controller (mini relay receiver) for 10 seconds. The code indicator light will flash 10 times, indicating that all previously paired signals have been cleared.
  2. Enter Pairing Mode: Press and hold the controller (mini relay receiver) for 3 seconds. The code indicator light will flash 5 times, signifying it has entered pairing mode.
  3. Pair with Wireless Switch: While the controller is in pairing mode, press the desired button on the wireless wall panel switch twice. Wait for 2 seconds. The pairing is successful when the indicator light on the controller stops flashing (default is always on).

4. Maintenance

The Szaoju Wireless Smart Switch Light is designed for durability and requires minimal maintenance.

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the surface of the wall panel switch. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Battery Replacement: The wireless wall panel switch is typically powered by a small battery (e.g., 27A 12V, as seen in some images). Replace the battery when the switch's responsiveness decreases.
  • Material: The mini relay receiver is made from flame retardant material for safety.

5. Troubleshooting

5.1 Signal Issues

  • Switch Not Responding: If the wireless switch is not controlling the receiver, try re-pairing the devices following the 'Pairing the Remote Control' steps in Section 3.1.
  • Interference: Ensure there are no strong RF interference sources nearby that might disrupt the 433Mhz signal.
  • Clearing All Paired Signals: If you experience erratic behavior or wish to reset the pairing, press and hold the controller for 10 seconds until the code indicator flashes 10 times. This will clear all stored pairings, and you will need to re-pair your switches.
