6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your RockTek GT1, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • No Power: Ensure the power adapter is securely connected to both the device and a working power outlet. Try a different outlet if necessary.
  • No Signal on TV: Verify that the HDMI cable is correctly connected to both the GT1 box and your TV. Ensure your TV is set to the correct HDMI input source.
  • Remote Control Not Responding: Check if the remote control batteries are correctly inserted and have sufficient charge. If the remote is not paired, go to Settings > Remotes & Accessories to pair it.
  • Network Connection Issues: For Wi-Fi, ensure your router is on and within range. Re-enter your Wi-Fi password in Settings > Network & Internet. For Ethernet, ensure the cable is securely connected. Restarting your router and the GT1 box can often resolve connectivity problems.
  • App Freezing/Crashing: Try force-stopping the app in Settings > Apps > See all apps. If the issue persists, clear the app's cache or data, or uninstall and reinstall the app.
  • Slow Performance: Close unused applications. Consider uninstalling apps you no longer use to free up storage and RAM.
