1. Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the NEEBRC FAM32-25A 25A Brushless Electronic Speed Controller (ESC). This product is a high-precision and delicate electronic unit designed for 1/18, 1/24, and 1/28 scale RC crawler, drift, and mini cars. Please read and understand all instructions before use. Improper operation can cause personal injuries and damage to the component. The manufacturer is not responsible for injuries and damages that arise from abuse or misuse of this product.
Key Features:
- Simulated FOC for extremely excellent low-speed linearity and powerful low-speed torque.
- Parameter adjusters and software can be used to adapt to various types of motors.
- Low voltage protection.
- Durable metal case.
- High integration, small size, easy to install.
2. Safety Warnings
- Always disconnect the battery from the ESC when not in use to prevent accidental operation and potential damage.
- Ensure all connections are secure and correctly polarized before applying power. Incorrect wiring can cause severe damage to the ESC, motor, and battery.
- Keep the ESC away from water, moisture, and extreme temperatures.
- Do not attempt to modify or disassemble the ESC. This will void the warranty and may lead to malfunction or injury.
- Use only compatible batteries (2S Li-PO) and motors as specified in the product specifications.
- Always operate your RC vehicle in a safe environment, away from people, pets, and obstacles.

5. Setup and Connections
Follow these steps to correctly set up your ESC:
- Connect Power, Motor, and Receiver: Connect the power supply (battery), motor, and receiver to the ESC correctly according to the wiring diagram below. Ensure proper polarity for the battery connection.
- Motor Wiring: Connect the motor to the three wires of the electric controller in any order. If, after initial setup, the throttle operation is reversed (e.g., forward is backward), switch any two of the three motor wires to correct the direction.
- Throttle Center Position Adjustment: Adjust the throttle fine adjustment knob on your transmitter. While doing so, the motor should emit a few long beeps, indicating that the throttle center position has been set. This is crucial for proper throttle response.
- Throttle Neutral Check: Ensure that the throttle adjustment on your transmitter is in the neutral position. If it is not in neutral, there will be no response to the throttle during operation.
- Transmitter Throttle Adjustment: The transmitter's throttle adjustment '0' value is typically a reference center, but it may sometimes deviate slightly to the left or right. Fine-tune as needed for optimal control.

6. Operating Instructions
Once the ESC is correctly installed and calibrated, you can begin operating your RC vehicle:
- Power On: Connect the battery to the ESC. Turn on your transmitter first, then power on the RC vehicle.
- Throttle Control: Use the throttle stick on your transmitter to control the speed and direction of the motor. Push forward for acceleration, pull back for braking/reverse (if configured).
- Steering Control: Use the steering wheel/stick on your transmitter to control the servo for vehicle direction.
- Low Voltage Protection: The ESC features low voltage protection. When the battery voltage drops to a critical level, the ESC will reduce power or cut off to protect the battery from over-discharge.
- Power Off: Always power off the RC vehicle first, then turn off your transmitter. Disconnect the battery from the ESC after use.
7. Maintenance
Proper maintenance will extend the lifespan of your ESC and ensure optimal performance:
- Cleaning: Regularly clean the ESC to remove dust, dirt, and debris. Use a soft brush or compressed air. Avoid using liquids.
- Inspection: Periodically inspect all wires and connectors for signs of wear, damage, or corrosion. Replace any damaged components immediately.
- Storage: Store the ESC in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Disconnect all batteries before storage.
- Firmware Updates: If available, check the manufacturer's website for any firmware updates for your ESC model. Follow update instructions carefully.
8. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your ESC, refer to the table below for common problems and their solutions:
| Causes | Solutions |
|---|---|
| No power | Check if the battery is unplugged or flat. Fix or charge the battery. |
| Reversed forward and backward operation | 1. Check if the motor wires are reversed. 2. Check if the Throttle Reverse is properly set. Toggle between NOV and REV. |
| The RC product slows down unexpectedly | Check the battery power. Check the battery if needed. |
| No throttle | 1. Check if the receiver channel is plugged in correctly, usually by inserting the CH2 channel, and if the CH2 channel wire is plugged in incorrectly. 2. Check if the remote control throttle is in the middle position of the throttle to complete frequency matching. |
