5. Safety Precautions and Important Notes
- Power Supply: This amplifier board requires a DC power supply. Do NOT use AC power, as this will cause damage.
- Voltage and Polarity: Ensure the input power voltage is within the 18-50VDC range. The input power cannot be reversed (incorrect polarity) or exceed 51V, otherwise, the board will be permanently damaged.
- Bridging: This board does NOT support bridging. The left and right channels cannot be connected together.
- Fan Operation: Upon power-on, the fan performs a self-check and stops normally after approximately 1 second. It will only activate and run continuously when the board's temperature exceeds 50°C to maintain optimal operating temperature.
- Cable Requirements: Power and audio cables are not included with the product. Please ensure you have appropriate cables for your setup.

6. Setup Instructions
Follow these steps to correctly set up your ZK-6002 amplifier board:
- Power Input: Connect a DC power supply (18-50VDC, recommended 36-48VDC, 10A or above) to the power input terminal. This can be done via the 5.5-2.5DC female socket or the 2P terminal block. Ensure correct polarity (positive to positive, negative to negative) and that the voltage does not exceed 51V.
- Speaker Connection: Connect your left channel speaker to the 'Connect the left channel speaker' terminals and your right channel speaker to the 'Connect to the right channel speaker' terminals. Ensure proper polarity for each speaker. The board supports 2-8 ohm speakers.
- Audio Input: Connect your audio source to the amplifier board. You can use either the 3.5MM audio port input or the XH2.54-3P stereo audio input (using the provided 3P double ended shielded wire).
- Volume Control: The board features a volume control potentiometer with an integrated switch for 0-38dB linear adjustment. This knob also serves as the power switch.

7. Operating Instructions
- Power On: After completing all connections as per the setup instructions, turn the volume control potentiometer clockwise until it clicks to power on the amplifier board. The pilot lamp will illuminate.
- Volume Adjustment: Continue turning the volume control potentiometer clockwise to increase the volume and counter-clockwise to decrease it.
- Pilot Lamp: The pilot lamp will stay on when the board is working normally. It will flash if the input voltage drops below 18V.
- Fan Operation: The cooling fan will perform a brief self-check upon power-on. It will then remain off until the board's internal temperature exceeds 50°C, at which point it will automatically start to cool the components.
- Power Off: Turn the volume control potentiometer counter-clockwise until it clicks to power off the amplifier board.

8. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Keep the amplifier board clean and free from dust. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the surface. For dust accumulation on the fan or heat sink, use compressed air.
- Ventilation: Ensure adequate airflow around the amplifier board to prevent overheating, especially during prolonged high-power operation. Do not obstruct the fan or heat sink.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the board in a dry, cool environment, away from direct sunlight and excessive humidity.
- Inspection: Periodically check all connections for tightness and ensure no wires are frayed or damaged.
9. Troubleshooting
- No Power/No Sound:
- Verify the DC power supply is connected correctly and providing voltage within the 18-50V range.
- Check power supply polarity. Incorrect polarity will prevent operation and may damage the board.
- Ensure the volume potentiometer is turned clockwise past the 'off' click.
- Confirm audio input cables are securely connected to both the source and the amplifier board.
- Check speaker connections and ensure speakers are functional.
- Pilot Lamp Flashing: This indicates the input voltage is below 18V. Check your DC power supply to ensure it provides sufficient voltage.
- Overheating: If the board feels excessively hot and the fan is not running (above 50°C), ensure the fan is not obstructed and there is adequate ventilation. If the fan is running but overheating persists, reduce the load or check for short circuits in the speaker wiring.
- Distorted Sound:
- Check the audio input signal level; too high a signal can cause distortion.
- Ensure speaker impedance is within the supported 2-8 ohm range.
- Verify all connections are secure and free from interference.
- No Fan Operation (when hot): The fan should start when the temperature exceeds 50°C. If it doesn't, check for obstructions or a faulty fan connection.
10. User Tips
- Power Supply Quality: For optimal performance and to achieve the advertised power output, use a high-quality DC power supply with sufficient current capacity (e.g., 36-48VDC, 10A or higher). A stable power source is crucial for sound quality and board longevity.
- Speaker Matching: While the board supports 2-8 ohm speakers, matching the speaker impedance to the power supply voltage will help maximize output power and efficiency. Lower impedance speakers (e.g., 2Ω) will draw more current and can achieve higher power with appropriate voltage.
- Cable Shielding: Utilize the provided shielded audio cable or other high-quality shielded cables to minimize interference and ensure a clean audio signal.
- Enclosure Design: If integrating the board into an enclosure, ensure proper ventilation holes are designed to allow the cooling fan to operate effectively and prevent heat buildup.
