Thank you for choosing the Nitecore BB nano Electronic Blower. This portable and versatile device is designed for efficient cleaning of photographic equipment and other sensitive devices. Please read this manual carefully to ensure proper and safe operation.

Important Safety Information

Warnings

  • Only use the product for its intended purposes. Using the product in any other way could potentially lead to risks and hazards.
  • Please read the user manual carefully before using the product. Connect the applicable power source only according to the specifications in this user manual to charge the product.
  • Please recharge the product every 3 months without a long-time usage.
  • Ambient Temperature of Usage: -10~40°C (14~104°F); Temperature of Storage: -20~60°C (-4~140°F).
  • DO NOT put any foreign objects into the air inlet, outlet or the charging port.
  • DO NOT cover the air inlet when using the product.
  • DO NOT use the product without a filter, or it will gather dust in the air inlet.
  • Stop using the product immediately if any signs of malfunction are observed.
  • Store the product in ventilated and dry areas. DO NOT use any liquid to clean the product. Keep it away from any combustible material.
  • DO NOT store or use the product in an environment where the temperature is extremely high / low or changes rapidly, or in a confined area with a high temperature.
  • Avoid any vibration or impact to the product.
  • DO NOT disassemble or modify the product as this could result in battery explosion, cracking or leaking, causing personal injury, property damage and/or other unpredictable risks.
  • Dispose of the device/batteries in accordance with applicable local laws and regulations.

Battery Safety

Improper use of devices with built-in Li-ion batteries may result in severe battery damage or safety hazards such as combustion or explosion. DO NOT use the device if it is damaged. DO NOT disassemble, puncture, cut, crush, or incinerate the device. If any leakage or abnormal odor is noticed, stop using the device immediately. Dispose of the device/batteries in accordance with applicable local laws and regulations.

Setup

Charging the Device

The BB nano is equipped with an intelligent charging system. Please charge the product before the first use. Use a USB-C cable (not included) to connect an external power supply to the charging port to begin the charging process.

During charging, the power indicator beneath the Power Button will glow red and flash slowly. Once fully charged, the product automatically stops charging, and the power indicator turns green and remains on. Charging time is approximately 1 hour. The BB nano can be used during the charging process.

Operating Instructions

Operating Modes

Fast Cleaning Mode

When the power is off, press and hold the Power Button to activate HIGH speed. Release the button to turn it off.

Constant Cleaning Mode
  • To Turn On: When the power is off, double press the Power Button to activate LOW speed.
  • To Switch Speeds: When the power is on, short press the Power Button to toggle between LOW and HIGH speeds.
  • To Turn Off: When the power is on, long press the Power Button to turn it off.

Note: If the battery power is low in Constant Cleaning Mode, the product will automatically turn off.

Power Indication

When the power is off, short press the Power Button. The power indicator will glow after 1 second to show the remaining battery power:

Maintenance

Filter Maintenance

Please replace the filter as soon as possible if it is broken or blocked by dust, or if the wind speed is significantly decreased.

Nozzle Changing

  1. Pinch the nozzle and rotate it counterclockwise to remove it.
  2. Once the new nozzle is attached, rotate it clockwise to secure it.

Filter Changing

  1. Rotate the filter on the bottom counterclockwise to remove it.
  2. Once the new filter is attached, rotate it clockwise to secure it.

Note: DO NOT use the product without a filter installed.

User Tips

  • For delicate surfaces like camera lenses, use the LOW wind speed setting to avoid potential damage.

  • Keep the BB nano charged, especially before outdoor photography sessions, to ensure it's ready when needed.
  • Consider purchasing optional vacuuming attachments for enhanced cleaning versatility in various environments.

Troubleshooting

Device Not Turning On

  • Ensure the battery is charged. Check the power indicator by short pressing the power button.
  • If the battery is completely depleted, connect to a USB-C power source and allow it to charge for a few minutes before attempting to turn it on.

Weak Airflow

  • Check if the filter is clogged with dust. Replace the filter if necessary.
  • Ensure the air inlet is not covered during operation.
  • Verify the nozzle is securely attached.

Unexpected Shutdown

  • This may occur if the battery level is critically low in Constant Cleaning Mode. Recharge the device.

Warranty and Support

Warranty Information

NITECORE products come with warranty service. Any DOA (Dead On Arrival) or defective product can be exchanged for a replacement through a local distributor/dealer within 15 days of purchase. After 15 days, all defective/malfunctioning NITECORE® products can be repaired free of charge for a period of 12 months (1 year) from the date of purchase. Beyond 12 months, a limited warranty applies, covering the cost of labor and maintenance, but not accessories or replacement parts.

The warranty is nullified if the product(s) is/are:

  1. Broken down, reconstructed and/or modified by unauthorized parties.
  2. Damaged from wrong operations.
