4. Setup Guide
4.1 Physical Installation
- Choose a Location: Select a suitable outdoor location for installation, considering the desired viewing area and proximity to a power source. The camera supports ceiling, side, normal, pendant mount, and vertical pole mount installations.
- Mount the Camera: Use the provided screws and mounting accessories to securely attach the camera to the chosen surface. Ensure the camera is stable and has a clear line of sight.
- Connect Power: Connect the DC 12V 2A power adapter to the camera's power input and plug it into a power outlet. Use the waterproof lid to protect the cable connections from environmental elements.
4.2 Network Connection
The camera supports both 2.4G WiFi and RJ45 LAN connections. Please note that 5G WiFi networks are not supported.

- Download the App: Download the "iCSee" app from Google Play Store (for Android) or iOS App Store (for Apple devices).
- Register/Login: Open the iCSee app and register a new account or log in if you already have one.
- Add Device: Follow the in-app instructions to add your new camera. This typically involves scanning a QR code on the camera or searching for devices on your local network.
- Configure WiFi (if applicable): If connecting via WiFi, select your 2.4G WiFi network and enter the password when prompted by the app.
- LAN Connection (alternative): For a wired connection, connect an RJ45 Ethernet cable from your router to the camera's LAN port. The app should detect the camera automatically via LAN search.
4.3 SD Card Installation
The camera supports a Micro SD card up to 128GB for local video storage.
- Locate SD Card Slot: Refer to Figure 2.1 to locate the Micro SD Card Slot on the camera.
- Insert SD Card: Gently insert the Micro SD card into the slot until it clicks into place.
- Format SD Card: It is recommended to format the SD card through the iCSee app settings after installation to ensure proper functionality.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Dual Lens and Dual Screen Monitoring
The iCSee app displays two video screens. The upper screen provides a fixed wide-angle view from the camera's top lens, while the lower screen shows the view from the PTZ lens, which you can control.

5.2 Pan & Tilt Control
Use the controls within the iCSee app to remotely adjust the viewing angle of the PTZ lens. The camera supports a horizontal pan of 0°-360° and a vertical tilt of -10°-180°.

5.3 AI Auto Tracking
Enable the AI Auto Tracking feature in the app settings. When a person is detected moving within the camera's field of view, the PTZ lens will automatically track their movement. This feature can also trigger lighting, notifications, and a built-in siren.

5.4 Two-Way Audio
The camera is equipped with a microphone and speaker. In the iCSee app, you can use the two-way audio function to listen to the environment around the camera and speak through the camera's speaker.

5.5 Smart Night Vision
The camera offers multiple night vision modes:
- Infrared Night Vision: Provides clear black and white video in low light conditions using IR LEDs.
- Full-Color Night Vision: Activates white LEDs to provide full-color video even in complete darkness.
- Double Light Vigilance: Combines IR and white light, often activating white light upon motion detection for enhanced visibility and deterrence.
You can select your preferred night vision mode in the iCSee app settings.

5.6 Motion Detection and Alerts
Configure motion detection sensitivity and alert preferences in the iCSee app. The camera can send push notifications to your mobile phone and record video when motion is detected.
5.7 Video Recording and Storage
The camera supports continuous recording or event-triggered recording to a locally installed TF card (up to 128GB). Additionally, cloud storage services are available through the iCSee app for an extra cost, providing off-site backup for your recordings.
6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning
- Regularly clean the camera lens with a soft, dry cloth to ensure clear image quality.
- Wipe the camera body with a damp cloth if necessary. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
6.2 Environmental Considerations
The camera is IP66 weatherproof, designed to withstand various outdoor conditions. However, extreme temperatures outside the -10°C to 60°C operating range may affect performance. Ensure proper installation to prevent water accumulation around connections.

6.3 Firmware Updates
Check the iCSee app periodically for available firmware updates. Keeping your camera's firmware up-to-date ensures optimal performance, security, and access to new features.
7. Troubleshooting
- Camera not connecting to WiFi: Ensure your WiFi network is 2.4GHz. The camera does not support 5GHz networks. Check WiFi password and signal strength.
- No image/video: Verify the camera is powered on and connected to the network. Check app settings for correct camera selection.
- Poor image quality: Clean the camera lens. Ensure sufficient lighting for optimal performance, especially at night. Check resolution settings in the app.
- Motion detection not working: Adjust motion detection sensitivity in the app. Ensure the detection area is correctly configured.
- Two-way audio issues: Check microphone and speaker permissions for the iCSee app on your phone. Ensure volume levels are adequate.
- Camera unresponsive: Try restarting the camera by unplugging and re-plugging the power adapter. If issues persist, locate the RESET button (at the SD Card Slot, see Figure 2.1) and press and hold it for 5-10 seconds to factory reset the camera. You will then need to reconfigure it.
8. User Tips
- ONVIF Compatibility: This camera supports ONVIF, allowing for integration with compatible Network Video Recorders (NVRs) or other surveillance systems for expanded functionality and storage options.
- Optimal WiFi Placement: For the best wireless performance, ensure the camera is placed within a strong 2.4GHz WiFi signal range. Avoid placing it too far from your router or behind thick walls.
- Night Vision Clarity: To maximize night vision clarity, try to minimize reflective surfaces (like bright walls or windows) directly in front of the camera, as these can cause glare from the IR or white LEDs.
- Regular Storage Checks: If using a TF card for local storage, periodically check its capacity via the iCSee app to prevent recording interruptions. Consider cloud storage for continuous backup and peace of mind.
