4. Maintenance and Care
4.1 Water Resistance
This watch is rated for 50 meters (5ATM) water resistance. This means it is suitable for daily use, such as hand washing, rain, and splashes. It is NOT recommended for swimming, diving, or exposure to hot water (e.g., hot showers, saunas) as steam can penetrate the seals. Do not press any buttons while the watch is submerged in water.

4.2 Battery Replacement
The watch uses a CR2025 battery. Battery replacement should ideally be performed by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and maintain water resistance. Incorrect replacement can compromise the watch's water resistance.
4.3 Cleaning
Wipe the watch regularly with a soft, dry cloth to remove dirt and sweat. For more stubborn grime, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by drying. Avoid using chemical cleaners, solvents, or abrasive materials, as these can damage the watch's case, strap, or display.
4.4 Storage
When not in use for extended periods, store the watch in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Avoid strong magnetic fields, which can affect the watch's accuracy.
5. Troubleshooting
- Display is blank: The battery may be depleted. Replace the CR2025 battery.
- Time is incorrect: Re-set the time and date following the instructions in Section 2.2.
- Buttons are unresponsive: Ensure the watch is not submerged in water. If the issue persists, a battery removal and re-insertion (soft reset) might resolve it. If not, professional service may be required.
- Water condensation inside the watch: This indicates a breach in the water resistance. Stop using the watch immediately and seek professional repair to prevent further damage.
