4. Setup & First Use

4.1 Unfolding the Scooter

Your scooter comes folded for transport. To unfold:

  1. Place the scooter on a flat surface.
  2. Locate the folding mechanism near the base of the steering column.
  3. Release the locking mechanism (refer to the video for visual guidance).
  4. Carefully lift the steering column until it locks into the upright position. Ensure it is securely locked before use.

4.2 Initial Charge

Before your first ride, fully charge the scooter's battery.

  1. Ensure the scooter is powered off.
  2. Connect the charger to the charging port on the scooter.
  3. Plug the charger into a power outlet. The indicator light on the charger will typically show red during charging and turn green when fully charged.
  4. Charging time is approximately 6-8 hours. Do not overcharge.

4.3 Handlebar Adjustment (if applicable)

Adjust the handlebar height to a comfortable position for riding. Ensure all quick-release clamps are securely tightened after adjustment.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

5.2 Riding

  1. Place one foot on the deck and push off with the other foot to gain initial momentum.
  2. Once moving, gently press the throttle to accelerate.
  3. Use the brakes on the handlebars to slow down or stop.
  4. Maintain a balanced posture and keep both hands on the handlebars.

5.3 Controls & Features

  • Headlights: Activate the headlights using the switch on the handlebar for improved visibility (see Figure 3.3).
  • Smart Lock: Use the provided remote control to lock/unlock the scooter for added security.
  • Dashboard Display: Monitor your speed, battery level, mileage, and selected gear (see Figure 3.1).
  • Gear Adjustment: Adjust the speed mode/gear via the dashboard controls.
  • NFC Card Swiping: Some models may feature NFC card swiping for activation or security. Refer to the specific instructions for this feature.

5.4 Folding for Storage/Transport

To fold the scooter for storage or transport:

  1. Ensure the scooter is powered off.
  2. Locate the folding lever/mechanism at the base of the steering column.
  3. Engage the mechanism to release the steering column.
  4. Fold the steering column down towards the deck until it clicks into place.
