4. Setup Guide

4.1 Package Contents

Before you begin, ensure all items are present:

4.2 App Download and Account Registration

4.3 Powering On the Camera

4.4 Network Connection (Wi-Fi)

  1. Ensure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. The iCam365 camera only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi.
  2. In the iCam365 app, tap the "+" icon to add a new device.
  3. Select your camera model or choose the appropriate connection method (e.g., "Scan QR code" or "Wi-Fi Configuration").
  4. Follow the in-app instructions to connect the camera to your Wi-Fi network. This usually involves scanning a QR code generated by the app with the camera's lens or entering your Wi-Fi password.
  5. Once connected, the camera will indicate successful pairing (e.g., a voice prompt or LED indicator change).

4.5 Mounting the Camera

The iCam365 camera offers flexible installation for both indoor and outdoor environments.

  • Choose a Location: Select a location that provides the desired viewing angle and is within range of your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Ensure the power cable can reach an outlet.
  • Mark Drill Holes: Use the mounting bracket as a template to mark the positions for drilling.
  • Drill Holes: Drill pilot holes and insert the wall anchors if mounting on drywall or masonry.
  • Secure the Bracket: Attach the mounting bracket to the wall or ceiling using the provided screws.
  • Attach the Camera: Securely attach the camera to the mounting bracket. Adjust the angle as needed.

5. Operating Instructions

The iCam365 camera is primarily controlled via the iCam365 mobile application.

5.1 Remote Operation and Live View

  • Open the iCam365 app on your smartphone.
  • Select your camera from the device list to access the live video feed.
  • You can view real-time footage from anywhere with an internet connection.

5.2 Two-Way Intercom

  • While in live view, tap the microphone icon in the app to speak through the camera's loudspeaker.
  • Tap the speaker icon to hear audio from the camera's microphone.
  • This allows for real-time communication with visitors or to deter intruders.

5.3 Motion Detection and Alarms

  • Enable motion detection in the app settings. You can adjust sensitivity levels and set specific detection zones.
  • When motion is detected, the camera will send push notifications to your smartphone and can trigger an audible alarm from the camera.

  • Insert a MicroSD (TF) card into the designated slot for local video recording.
  • Configure recording settings (e.g., continuous recording, event-triggered recording) within the iCam365 app.
  • Recorded footage can be accessed and reviewed directly through the app.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Regularly wipe the camera lens and body with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and smudges. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Power Supply: Ensure the power adapter and cable are free from damage. A stable power supply is crucial for continuous operation.
  • TF Card Management: Periodically check the storage capacity of your TF card. If the card is full and loop recording is not enabled, new recordings may overwrite older ones or stop entirely. Format the card via the app if necessary.
  • Firmware Updates: Check the iCam365 app regularly for available firmware updates. Keeping your camera's firmware up-to-date ensures optimal performance, security, and access to new features.
  • Environmental Protection: While designed for outdoor use, avoid direct exposure to extreme weather conditions (e.g., prolonged heavy rain, direct sunlight in extreme heat) to extend the camera's lifespan.

7. Troubleshooting

7.1 Common Issues and Solutions
