4. Setup & Installation
The LeeKooLuu wireless system is designed for easy installation, minimizing complex wiring.
4.1 Camera Installation & Power
- Placement: Mount the wireless camera at the rear of your vehicle using the provided screw kit. Ensure the solar panel faces upwards to receive sufficient sunlight for charging. The camera features a magnetic suction design for flexible mounting options.
- Solar Charging: The camera has a built-in 10000mAh battery that can be charged via its integrated solar panel. This eliminates the need for constant wiring to the vehicle's power system.
- Wired Charging (Optional): For initial charging or in low-light conditions, use the provided Type-C power cable and charger to power the camera.
- Waterproof: The camera is IP68 rated, making it suitable for outdoor installation and all-weather environments.

4.2 Monitor Installation & Power
- Placement: The 7-inch monitor can be installed on your vehicle's dashboard or center console using the universal mount with adhesive pad. The detachable bracket allows for 100° rotation to achieve the optimal viewing angle.
- Power Connection: Connect the monitor to your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket using the provided car cigarette lighter power adapter. The system supports DC12V-36V power input.
- Wireless Pairing: The camera and monitor are designed for wireless connectivity and typically pair automatically upon power-up. No external router is required.

5. Operation
5.1 Monitor Controls
The monitor features several buttons for easy navigation and control:
- Power Switch: Turns the monitor on/off.
- Previous: Navigates to the previous option or video.
- Menu/Back (M): Accesses the menu settings or goes back to the previous screen.
- Next: Navigates to the next option or video.
- Confirm Key (OK): Confirms selections in the menu.
- CH (Channel): Switches between camera channels if multiple cameras are connected (not applicable for single camera setup).
5.2 Video Recording (DVR)
- The monitor supports DVR loop recording with a maximum 128GB SD card (not included).
- When the memory card space is insufficient, the system automatically overwrites the oldest video recordings. Manual deletion is not required.
- To enable or disable DVR and other recording settings, navigate through the monitor's menu using the 'M' button.

5.3 Reversing Guide Lines
- The system features intelligent reversing guide lines.
- You can adjust the width, height, and left/right positioning of these lines via the monitor's menu to suit your vehicle and preference.
- The guide lines can also be toggled on or off.

5.4 Day and Night Vision
- The camera automatically switches between full-color day vision and black-and-white starlight night vision.
- Night vision provides clear viewing even in low-light conditions, with a visible distance of over 10 meters.

6. Maintenance
- Solar Panel: Regularly clean the solar panel on the camera to ensure optimal charging efficiency. Dust, dirt, or snow can reduce its performance.
- Camera Lens: Keep the camera lens clean and free from obstructions (dirt, water droplets, ice) to maintain clear image quality. Use a soft, damp cloth for cleaning.
- Monitor Screen: Clean the monitor screen with a soft, lint-free cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals that may damage the display.
- SD Card (for DVR): For continuous and reliable recording, it is recommended to periodically format the SD card (e.g., once every few months) through the monitor's menu settings. This helps prevent data corruption and ensures smooth loop recording.
- Battery Life: While the camera supports solar charging, if the vehicle is stored in a garage or experiences prolonged periods without sunlight, consider charging the camera via the Type-C cable to maintain battery health.
7. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No image on monitor | Monitor not powered; Camera not powered; Wireless signal interference; Camera not paired. | Ensure monitor is plugged into a working cigarette lighter socket. Check camera battery level or connect to Type-C charger. Reduce distance between camera and monitor or reposition antennas. Re-pair camera and monitor via menu settings. |
| Flickering or unstable image | Weak wireless signal; Electromagnetic interference; Low camera battery. | Ensure antennas are securely attached and unobstructed. Move away from strong electromagnetic sources. Charge camera battery fully. |
| Poor night vision quality | Dirty camera lens; Insufficient ambient light for starlight vision; Infrared lamps obstructed. | Clean the camera lens. Ensure no obstructions are blocking the infrared lamps. |
| DVR not recording | No SD card inserted; SD card full or corrupted; DVR function disabled. | Insert a compatible SD card (up to 128GB). Format the SD card via monitor settings. Enable DVR function in the menu. |
| Camera not charging via solar | Insufficient sunlight; Dirty solar panel; Damaged solar panel. | Ensure camera is positioned in direct sunlight. Clean the solar panel. If damaged, charge via Type-C cable. |
8. User Tips
- Optimize Wireless Signal: For larger vehicles or environments with potential interference, ensure both the camera and monitor antennas are positioned for maximum line-of-sight. While the system is designed for strong anti-interference, physical obstructions can impact signal range. If experiencing range issues, try to minimize obstacles between the camera and monitor.
- Solar Charging Efficiency: To maximize solar charging, park your vehicle in an open area where the camera's solar panel receives direct sunlight for several hours daily. In winter or cloudy conditions, supplemental Type-C charging may be necessary to maintain optimal battery levels.
- SD Card Management: Although loop recording automatically overwrites old footage, periodically backing up important recordings and formatting the SD card (e.g., once every few months) can help maintain optimal performance and prevent potential data corruption.
- Adjusting Guide Lines: Take the time to calibrate the intelligent reverse lines to accurately reflect your vehicle's dimensions and parking preferences. This can significantly improve parking accuracy and safety.
