5. Setup and Installation

Professional installation is highly recommended for this product. Incorrect wiring can cause damage to the unit or your vehicle. Always disconnect the vehicle's battery before beginning any electrical work.

5.1. Wiring Diagram

Refer to the following diagram for proper wiring connections. Ensure each wire is connected to its corresponding function in your vehicle's harness.

5.2. DAB Antenna Installation (If applicable)

For optimal DAB+ radio reception, install the DAB antenna as follows:

  1. Disassemble the plastic border of the right window.
  2. Remove the protective paper from the black film and transparent film on the antenna.
  3. Stick the black film on the metal frame and the transparent film on the glass. Ensure to leave space for replacing the plastic border.
  4. Tighten the black film and transparent film, and fix the cable securely.
  5. Carefully put the plastic border back, ensuring not to damage the cable.

Important Note:

  • Before installation, remove the protective paper from the DAB antenna.
  • The copper part of the antenna must be connected to a metal (ground electrode) surface.
  • For left-hand drive vehicles, position the antenna on the left side of the windshield. Leave a 2-3 cm gap from the window frame and attach the film vertically.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Basic Operation

  • Power On/Off: Press the Power button on the front panel to turn the unit on or off.
  • Reset: If the unit malfunctions, press the RST button (usually a small pinhole) with a thin object to reset the system.
  • Volume Control: Use the Vol+ and Vol- buttons on the front panel or steering wheel controls to adjust the volume.
