1. Introduction

The PANDA PF05 Series Smart Projector is a versatile and high-performance device designed for an immersive viewing experience. Featuring 600 ANSI lumens brightness, native 1080P resolution with 4K support, Android 13.0 operating system, and advanced auto-focus and auto-keystone correction, it delivers clear and vibrant images in various environments. With dual-band WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 4.0, it offers seamless connectivity for all your entertainment and presentation needs.

2. Safety Information

  • Do not look directly into the projector lens when the lamp is on.
  • Ensure proper ventilation around the projector to prevent overheating.
  • Keep the projector away from water or other liquids.
  • Use only the power cord provided with the projector.
  • Avoid placing the projector on unstable surfaces.
  • Do not attempt to open or repair the projector yourself. Refer to qualified service personnel.

4. Product Overview

4.1 Projector Components

4.2 Interfaces

The projector features the following input/output ports:

  • HDMI: For connecting to computers, set-top boxes, game consoles, etc.
  • USB: For direct reading from USB flash drives and mobile hard drives.
  • 3.5mm Earphone Out (AV Headphone jack): For connecting external audio devices.
  • AV Interface: For connecting older audio/video equipment.

5. Setup

5.1 Placement

Place the projector on a stable, flat surface. Ensure there is adequate space around the projector for ventilation. The optimal projection distance ranges from 1 meter to 4 meters, allowing for a projected screen size of 30 to 200 inches.

5.2 Power Connection

  1. Connect the provided power cord to the projector's power input.
  2. Plug the other end of the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.

5.3 Initial Power On and Adjustments

Upon powering on, the projector will automatically perform several adjustments:

  • Autofocus: The projector will automatically adjust the image clarity within approximately 5 seconds with 99% accuracy.

  • Automatic Keystone Correction: The projector will automatically correct trapezoidal distortion to ensure a perfectly rectangular image, even if placed at an angle.

  • Intelligent Obstacle Avoidance: The projector can scan the projection surface and automatically adjust the image to avoid obstacles, selecting the best projection area.

5.4 Network Connection

The projector supports dual-band WiFi 6 (2.4GHz/5GHz) for high-speed wireless connectivity.

  1. Navigate to the 'Settings' menu on the projector.
  2. Select 'Network & Internet' or 'WiFi'.
  3. Choose your desired WiFi network from the list.
  4. Enter the password if prompted and connect.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Basic Operation

  • Power On/Off: Press the power button on the projector or the remote control.
  • Navigation: Use the arrow keys and 'OK' button on the remote control to navigate the Android 13.0 interface.

6.2 Input Sources

To switch between input sources:

  1. Press the 'Source' button on the remote control.
  2. Select the desired input (HDMI, USB, AV, or internal Android system).

6.3 Screen Mirroring

The projector supports mirroring your phone screen wirelessly.

  1. Ensure your mobile device and the projector are connected to the same WiFi network.
  2. On the projector, select the 'Screen Mirroring' application (e.g., AirPlay or tranScreen).
  3. On your mobile device, activate screen mirroring/casting and select the projector's device name.

6.4 Audio Output

The projector has built-in 2x5W dual-band speakers for a powerful audio experience.

You can also connect external audio devices:

  • 3.5mm Earphone Out: Connect headphones or external speakers using a 3.5mm audio cable.
  • Bluetooth: Pair Bluetooth-compatible speakers or headphones via the projector's Bluetooth settings (BT4.0).

7. Maintenance

7.1 Cleaning the Lens

Gently wipe the projector lens with a soft, lint-free cloth specifically designed for optical surfaces. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

7.2 Cleaning the Projector Body

Wipe the exterior of the projector with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn stains, dampen the cloth slightly with water and then wipe dry.

7.3 Optical Machine

The PF05 features an integrated sealed optical machine, which is designed to be dustproof and provide a long service life, minimizing the need for internal cleaning.

8. Troubleshooting
