Control Functions:

  1. Microphone Control:
    • Short press once: Turn microphone on/off
    • Press twice: Answer/hang up call
    • Press and hold for 1.5 seconds: Reject a call
  2. Play/Pause & Mode Switch:
    • Short press once: Play/Pause
    • Press twice: Wireless 2.4G mode switch
    • Long press for 2 seconds: Game/Music mode switch
  3. Volume Control: Scroll to "+" to increase volume, scroll to "-" to reduce volume.
  4. 3.5mm Audio Cable Jack
  5. Power & Lights:
    • Long press for 3 seconds: Power on/off
    • Short press once: Lights on/off (RGB)
  6. Microphone Jack
  7. Charging Jack (Type-C)

The headset features a pluggable smart noise-cancelling microphone with AI noise reduction technology, accurately capturing human voices and filtering ambient noise for clear communication.

The adjustable aluminium alloy head beam and high-resilience memory foam ear muffs, combined with skin-sensitive protein leather and ice-conducting technology, ensure comfort during extended use without clamping or overheating.

Setup Guide

1. Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge your headset. Connect the charging cable (USB-A to Type-C) to the headset's charging jack (7 in Figure 1) and a compatible USB power source. The headset has a 1050mAh large capacity lithium battery, providing approximately 55 hours of use on a full charge. It supports playing while charging.

2. Attaching the Microphone

Insert the pluggable microphone into the microphone jack (6 in Figure 1) on the headset until it clicks securely into place.

3. Connecting the Headset (Tri-Mode)

The MCHOSE S9 Pro supports three connection modes: 2.4G Wireless, Bluetooth, and Wired (3.5mm/Type-C).

3.1. 2.4G Wireless Connection (for PC, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch Base Mode)

This mode offers ultra-low latency (approx. 15ms) for optimal gaming performance.

  1. Plug the 2.4G + Type-C receiver (USB/Type-C dual interface adapter) into an available USB or Type-C port on your device (PC, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch dock).
  2. Power on the headset by long pressing the Power button (5 in Figure 1) for 3 seconds.
  3. The headset should automatically connect to the receiver. If not, double-press the Play/Pause & Mode Switch button (2 in Figure 1) to switch to 2.4G wireless mode.

Note: The 2.4G + Type-C receiver is a dual-interface adapter. If using the Type-C interface, you may need to pull out the USB side of the transmitter to expose the Type-C connector. If using the USB interface, ensure the Type-C interface is fully inserted back into the transmitter.

3.2. Bluetooth Connection (for Mobile Phone, Tablet)

  1. Power on the headset by long pressing the Power button (5 in Figure 1) for 3 seconds.
  2. Long press the Play/Pause & Mode Switch button (2 in Figure 1) for 2 seconds to enter Bluetooth pairing mode (the headset indicator light will flash).
  3. On your mobile device, go to Bluetooth settings and select "MCHOSE S9 Pro" from the list of available devices.
  4. Once paired, the headset will indicate a successful connection.

3.3. Wired Connection (3.5mm Audio Cable)

  1. Connect one end of the 3.5mm audio cable to the 3.5mm Audio Cable Jack (4 in Figure 1) on the headset.
  2. Connect the other end to the 3.5mm audio output on your device.
  3. The headset will operate in wired mode, bypassing wireless functions.

4. Driver Installation (for advanced features on PC)

To utilize advanced features like EQ regulation, AI intelligent call noise reduction, and 7.1 Surround Sound, driver installation is recommended for PC users.

  1. First, ensure the 2.4G receiver is plugged into your computer.
  2. Download the driver from the official website: https://www.maicong.cn/support/audio
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the driver.
  4. After installation, right-click on the speaker icon in the driver interface (usually on the left side) to access sound-related functions.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off

  • Power On: Long press the Power button (5 in Figure 1) for 3 seconds.
  • Power Off: Long press the Power button (5 in Figure 1) for 3 seconds.

Volume Control

Use the Volume Control scroll wheel (3 in Figure 1):

  • Scroll to "+" to increase volume.
  • Scroll to "-" to reduce volume.

Microphone Functions

Use the Microphone Control button (1 in Figure 1):

  • Microphone On/Off: Short press the button once.
  • Answer/Hang Up Call: Press the button twice.
  • Reject Call: Press and hold the button for 1.5 seconds.

Play/Pause & Mode Switching

Use the Play/Pause & Mode Switch button (2 in Figure 1):

  • Play/Pause: Short press the button once.
  • Wireless 2.4G Mode Switch: Press the button twice to cycle through available 2.4G wireless connections.
  • Game/Music Mode Switch: Long press the button for 2 seconds to toggle between Game Mode and Music Mode.

RGB Lighting Control

To turn the RGB lights on or off, short press the Power button (5 in Figure 1) once. The headset features cool RGB atmosphere light effects for an immersive experience.

EQ Regulation and 7.1 Surround Sound

These advanced audio settings are managed through the dedicated driver software on your PC (see Setup Guide, Section 4).

  • EQ Regulation: Customize and adjust game sound effects to your preference.
  • 7.1 Surround Sound: Enable one-click open space enhancement for immersive 3D listening, allowing accurate positioning of in-game sounds like footsteps.
  • AI Intelligent Call Noise Reduction: Enhance voice clarity during calls by reducing background noise.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the headset. For ear muffs, gently wipe with a slightly damp cloth if necessary, and allow to air dry completely before use. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
  • Storage: Store the headset in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Ear Muffs: The ice-conducting ear muffs are designed for comfort and heat dissipation. Avoid puncturing or damaging the internal gel layer.
  • Microphone: When not in use, you may detach the microphone for storage to prevent damage.

Troubleshooting

No Sound/Low Volume:
  • Ensure the headset is powered on and properly connected (2.4G receiver, Bluetooth, or 3.5mm cable).
  • Check the volume level on both the headset (scroll wheel) and your connected device.
  • If using 2.4G wireless, ensure the receiver is fully inserted and the headset is in 2.4G mode.
  • For PC, check sound output settings and ensure the MCHOSE S9 Pro is selected as the default audio device.
Microphone Not Working:
  • Ensure the microphone is securely plugged into the headset's microphone jack.
  • Short press the Microphone Control button (1 in Figure 1) to ensure the microphone is not muted.
  • Check microphone input settings on your connected device and ensure the MCHOSE S9 Pro microphone is selected.
  • For PC, verify driver installation and settings for AI Noise Reduction.
Cannot Connect Wirelessly:
  • 2.4G Wireless: Ensure the 2.4G receiver is plugged in and the headset is in 2.4G mode (double-press button 2).
  • Bluetooth: Ensure the headset is in Bluetooth pairing mode (long press button 2) and your device's Bluetooth is enabled and searching.
  • Move the headset closer to the receiver/device to rule out range issues.
  • Try restarting both the headset and the connecting device.
RGB Lights Not Working:
  • Short press the Power button (5 in Figure 1) once to toggle the lights on/off.
  • Ensure the headset has sufficient battery charge.
