Video 1: Assembly guide for the CONENTOOL 5-in-1 Multi-Tool.
General Assembly Steps:
- Attach the D-Handle: Slide the D-handle onto the main shaft and secure it with the provided screws and Allen key. Ensure it is positioned comfortably for operation.
- Connect Shaft Sections: If using an extension pole or different attachments, utilize the quick-change split shaft system. Press the release button/lever, insert the attachment shaft, and ensure it locks securely into place.
- Attach Cutting Blades (40T Saw Blade or 3T Blade):
- Remove the retaining nut and washer from the head.
- Place the desired blade (e.g., 40T saw blade for dense brush or 3T blade for thick grass) onto the spindle.
- Re-attach the washer and retaining nut, tightening securely with the provided spanner.
- Attach Trimmer Head:
- If a blade is installed, remove it.
- Align the trimmer head with the spindle and rotate until it snaps into place.
- Ensure the trimmer line is properly fed through the eyelets.
- Attach Chainsaw Pruner:
- Install the chain onto the guide bar, ensuring the cutting direction is correct.
- Mount the guide bar and chain onto the chainsaw head, engaging the drive sprocket.
- Close the cover and tighten the nut with a spanner.
- Adjust the chain tension using a screwdriver until it is snug but can still be moved by hand.
- Attach Hedge Trimmer:
- Connect the hedge trimmer attachment to the main shaft using the quick-change system.
- The hedge trimmer head can be rotated 270 degrees by adjusting the angle mechanism.
- Install Safety Guard: Attach the appropriate safety guard for the cutting attachment being used. Secure it firmly to the shaft with the provided clamp and screws.
- Fuel Mixing: Use the provided fuel mixing bottle to prepare the 2-stroke fuel mixture. The recommended fuel/oil mixture ratio is 25:1 (25 parts unleaded petrol to 1 part 2-stroke engine oil). Always use fresh, high-quality unleaded petrol and 2-stroke engine oil.

4. Operating Instructions
Before starting, ensure all safety precautions are followed and the tool is correctly assembled with the desired attachment.
Starting the Engine:
- Place the tool on a flat, stable surface.
- Fill the fuel tank with the correct 25:1 fuel/oil mixture.
- Prime the carburetor by pressing the primer bulb several times until fuel is visible.
- Set the choke lever to the 'CLOSED' position (for cold starts).
- Pull the starter cord firmly and smoothly until the engine fires (usually 1-3 pulls).
- Once the engine fires, move the choke lever to the 'OPEN' position.
- Pull the starter cord again until the engine starts and runs smoothly.
- Allow the engine to warm up for a few moments before engaging the throttle.
Using Attachments:
- Brush Cutter (3T Blade / 40T Saw Blade): Ideal for clearing brush, dense weeds, and small saplings. Hold the tool firmly with both hands, using the shoulder strap for support. Swing the blade in a controlled motion, keeping it away from hard objects.
- Grass Strimmer: Use for trimming grass around obstacles, edges, and light weed growth. Maintain a steady pace and avoid hitting hard surfaces to prolong line life. The bump-feed head allows for easy line advancement.
- Hedge Trimmer: Perfect for shaping hedges and shrubs. The 270° rotatable head allows for trimming at various angles. Use a smooth, sweeping motion for even cuts.
- Chainsaw Pruner: Designed for pruning tree branches. Ensure the chain is properly tensioned and lubricated. Use caution when working overhead and maintain a stable footing. The automatic chain lubrication system helps ensure smooth operation.
Always maintain a firm grip on the tool and use the provided shoulder strap for comfort and control, especially during extended use.

5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your multi-tool. Always turn off the engine and disconnect the spark plug before performing any maintenance.
General Maintenance:
- Cleaning: After each use, clean the tool thoroughly, removing grass, dirt, and debris from the engine, cutting attachments, and air vents.
- Air Filter: Regularly inspect and clean the air filter. A dirty air filter can reduce engine performance and increase fuel consumption. Replace if damaged.
- Spark Plug: Check the spark plug periodically for wear and proper gap. Clean or replace as needed.
- Fuel System: Drain the fuel tank if storing the tool for an extended period. Run the engine until it stops to clear the carburetor of fuel.
Attachment-Specific Maintenance:
- Blades (Brush Cutter): Inspect blades for sharpness and damage. Sharpen dull blades or replace severely damaged ones. Ensure they are balanced.
- Trimmer Line: Replace trimmer line when it runs out or becomes brittle. Use 2.7mm diameter line.
- Chainsaw Chain: Keep the chain sharp and properly tensioned. Regularly check the oil reservoir for the automatic chain lubrication system and refill with appropriate chain oil.
- Hedge Trimmer Blades: Keep blades clean and sharp. Lubricate the blades with light machine oil after each use to prevent rust and ensure smooth operation.
6. Troubleshooting
Here are some common issues and their potential solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
