Wiring Instructions
Ensure all wiring is performed by a qualified electrician and adheres to local electrical codes. Turn off power before installation.

- DDS669-A (Direct Wiring Type): Connect the Live (L) and Neutral (N) wires directly to the meter's input terminals as shown in the diagram.
- DDS669-B (External CT Type): For this model, an external Current Transformer (CT) is used. Connect the Live (L) and Neutral (N) wires to the meter. The CT clamp should be placed around the Live wire.
- DDS669-C (Built-in CT Type): This model features a built-in CT. Connect the Live (L) and Neutral (N) wires to the meter's terminals.
CT Clamp Direction (DDS669-B Only)

To measure energy consumption, the arrow on the CT should follow the direction of the current flow. In this case, the power will be positive, and the energy consumption will be accumulated. To measure energy production, the arrow on the CT should be opposite to the direction of the current flow. In this case, the power will be negative, and the energy generation will be accumulated.
CT Dimensions for DDS669-B:
| Mold | Φ | A | B | C | D | E |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 80A | 10mm | 29mm | 41mm | / | 14mm | 26mm |
| 120A | 16mm | 39mm | 46mm | 38mm | 20mm | 31mm |
| 200A | 24mm | 54mm | 66mm | 43mm | 23mm | 35mm |
Operation
The DDS Energy Meter features an intuitive interface for viewing and managing data.

Navigating the Display
- Single Click: Press the button once to cycle through different display modes, such as Forward Energy Consumption, Total Energy Consumption, and Reverse Energy Consumption.
- Double Click: Press the button twice to switch between specific readings or modes.
- Click and Hold (5 Seconds): To clear temporary energy consumption data (Temporare Energy Consumption Data Zero Clearing), click and hold the button for 5 seconds. The meter will display 'CAL - 1' to confirm the clearing process.
The meter also includes a 'Snap Pin' (used for zeroing power consumption) and Dust Plugs for protection.
Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and accuracy of your DDS Energy Meter, follow these general maintenance guidelines:
- Keep the device clean and free from dust and moisture.
- Avoid exposing the meter to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight for prolonged periods.
- Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners on the display or casing.
- Regularly check wiring connections to ensure they are secure.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your DDS Energy Meter, consider the following general troubleshooting steps:
- No Display/Power: Check the power supply connections and ensure the rated voltage is correctly applied.
- Incorrect Readings: Verify all wiring connections, especially for CT clamps (DDS669-B), ensuring correct polarity and direction. Confirm the meter is set to the appropriate voltage and frequency.
- Data Not Updating: Ensure the meter is receiving a stable power supply.
If problems persist, consult a qualified electrician or contact customer support.
