3. Setup Instructions
3.1 Device Mounting
- Attach the Bracket: Secure the dash cam unit to the provided mounting bracket. The bracket is designed for stability and aesthetic integration with your car's interior.
- Positioning: Choose a suitable location on your dashboard or windshield that does not obstruct your view of the road. The rectangular screen design helps minimize visual obstruction.
- Secure the Mount: Use the adhesive pad or suction cup (depending on your bracket type) to firmly attach the bracket to the chosen surface.

3.2 Power Connection
- Connect the car charger cable to the 'Power Hole' (Type-C port) on the side of the dash cam unit.
- Plug the other end of the car charger into your vehicle's 12V-32V power outlet.

3.3 Rear Camera Installation (Optional)
- Connect the rear camera cable to the designated 'Rear Camera' port on the dash cam unit.
- Route the cable neatly to the rear of your vehicle.
- Mount the rear camera in a suitable location, typically above the license plate or on the rear window.
- For Reversing Assist Function: Connect the red signal wire of the rear camera to your car's reversing light. This will automatically activate the reversing view when you shift into reverse.
- If you do not require the reversing assist function, you can leave the red signal wire disconnected.
3.4 TF Card Insertion
- Locate the 'TF Card Slot' on the side of the dash cam unit.
- Insert a Class 10 or higher TF (microSD) card into the slot. Ensure it is inserted correctly until it clicks into place.
- The system will automatically enter recording mode once the TF card is detected.
3.5 GPS Antenna Connection (Optional)
- If you have purchased the GPS antenna version, connect the GPS antenna to its dedicated port on the dash cam unit.
- Position the antenna in a location with a clear view of the sky for optimal signal reception.

4.1 Power On/Off & Basic Operation

4.2 Wireless CarPlay / Android Auto
To connect your smartphone wirelessly:
- Ensure your phone's WiFi is enabled.
- Enable your phone's Bluetooth and pair it with the dash cam device.
- Once paired, CarPlay or Android Auto will connect automatically.
Compatibility Note: Supports iOS 7 and above; Android 11 and above; Google 8 version. Some phone brands (e.g., Huawei, Honor, Xiaomi, Redmi) may not be compatible with Android Cast.

4.3 Mirror Link (Miracast/Airplay)
For screen mirroring from your smartphone:
- Go to 'Setting' > 'System' > 'ScreenCast Mode' on the dash cam.
- For iOS (AirPlay): Select Airplay on your phone, connect to the dash cam's WiFi (e.g., "TF790-24461ace"), then open Control Center and tap Screen Mirroring, select "Smartscreeen".
- For Android (Screen Mirroring): Select Android mirror on your phone (some phones may not be supported), open Control Center and tap Smart View (casting names may vary), select "Smartscreeen".
Note: Netflix is not supported for mirroring due to content protection.

4.4 Dash Cam Recording
- 4K Front Camera: The front camera records in 4K (3840x2160) resolution. It can be rotated 360° to record the inside or outside of the car, and its lens can be stretched up and down for wider views.
- 1080P Rear Camera (Optional): If a rear camera is connected, it records in 1080P.
- Dual Channel Recording: Both front and rear cameras can record simultaneously.
- WDR Technology: Ensures clear video quality in various lighting conditions.
- Loop Recording: New footage automatically overwrites the oldest files when the memory card is full, ensuring continuous recording.
- Emergency Recording: In case of sudden impact or collision (detected by G-Sensor), the device automatically locks the current video segment to prevent it from being overwritten.
