1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your 4G GPS Tracker. Please read this manual carefully before using the device to ensure proper functionality and safety. This device is designed for vehicle tracking, offering real-time positioning and historical track query capabilities.

2. Product Overview

The 4G GPS Tracker is a robust and easy-to-install positioning device featuring a large capacity battery and IP67 waterproof rating. Its premium PC material ensures durability. The device supports 4G connectivity for quick data transmission and includes an energy-saving mode for extended use.

2.1 Device Components

3. Setup Guide

3.1 SIM Card Installation

  2. Insert a Nano SIM card into the Nano SIM card holder as shown in Figure 1. Ensure the SIM card is correctly oriented.
  3. Replace the SIM card cover securely to maintain the device's waterproof integrity.

Note: This tracker is suitable for use in Asia, Europe, and Australia. It is NOT suitable for use in America due to network compatibility.

3.2 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the device. Connect the magnetic charging cable to the charging port (refer to Figure 1) and a suitable USB power source. The Red light (Power indicator) will typically show charging status.

3.3 Powering On

Press and hold the Power On/Reset button until the indicator lights activate. The device will attempt to connect to the network and acquire a GPS signal.

3.4 Device Installation

The tracker features a handy, installation-free design with strong magnetic adsorption, allowing for flexible placement without wiring. It can be adsorbed on any metal surface, such as the car's seat bottom or container, ensuring it never falls off.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Indicator Lights

  • Red Light (Power): Indicates power status (e.g., solid for on, blinking for low battery, off for power off).
  • Yellow Light (Signal): Indicates network connectivity (e.g., solid for connected, blinking for searching for signal).
  • Blue Light (GPS Satellite): Indicates GPS signal acquisition (e.g., solid for GPS fixed, blinking for searching for satellites).

4.2 Tracking Functionality

Once powered on and configured with the tracking application, the device will provide:

  • Real-Time Location: View the current position of your vehicle on a map via the tracking app.
  • Historical Track Query: Access past travel routes and data for specific periods.

4.3 Energy Saving Mode

The device features an energy-saving mode to optimize battery life. This mode intelligently adjusts reporting frequency based on movement or predefined settings. Refer to your tracking application for specific settings related to energy saving.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Charging

Recharge the device using the provided magnetic charging cable when the battery is low. A full charge ensures optimal performance and tracking duration. The 10000mAh battery provides extended operational time.

5.2 Cleaning

Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Ensure the charging port and SIM card cover area are free from dirt and debris.

5.3 Waterproofing

The device is IP67 waterproof, meaning it is protected from dust and can withstand immersion in water up to 1 meter for up to 30 minutes. However, avoid prolonged submersion or exposure to high-pressure water jets to prevent damage.
