5. Setup
5.1 Power Supply
The XH300 requires an external DC 12-24V power supply to operate. Connect the provided power cord to the 'Power In DC12-24V' port on the device and to a suitable power source.
5.2 Connecting to ECUs/Sensors
The device supports both Hall and magnetoelectric signal outputs. Use the appropriate alligator clip cables to connect the XH300 to the vehicle's ECU or sensor system.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Signal Selection and Adjustment
The XH300 can simulate various signal types:
- CKP Signal: 58+2, 34+2, 36+2, 60+0, 56+4, 10+1.
- Camshaft Signal: 4+1, 6+1.
- Engine Speed Signal
- Vehicle Speed (Odometer) Signal
- Magnetoelectric ABS Sensor Signal
To select a signal type, short press the SET key. The signal frequency is displayed by default (Hz). Use the Up and Down keys to adjust the signal frequency (1-8000Hz).
6.2 Signal Phase Reversal
Press the H/L (Phase Reversal) key to reverse the signal phase by 180 degrees each time it is pressed. The display will show 'H' for high waveform output and 'L' for low waveform output.

6.3 Editing Crankshaft Signals
The XH300 allows users to edit crankshaft signals, particularly for missing tooth configurations. The newly edited signal is automatically saved.
- Long press the SET key: The first two digits on the left will blink. Use the Up or Down key to modify the number of teeth (range 1-99).
- Short press the SET key: The digit for missing teeth will blink. Use the Up or Down key to modify the number of missing teeth (range 1-9).
- Short press the SET key again: Exit the editing mode. Signal editing is completed.
For example, editing the 10+1 signal will overwrite the original 10+1 signal with your custom settings.

7. Maintenance
- Keep the device clean and free from dust and debris. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning.
- Store the XH300 in a cool, dry place when not in use.
- Regularly check cables and connectors for any signs of wear or damage. Replace if necessary.
8. Troubleshooting
- No Power: Ensure the power supply is correctly connected and providing DC 12-24V. Check the power cord for damage.
- No Signal Output: Verify that the correct signal type is selected and the frequency/amplitude settings are appropriate for your application. Check all connections to the ECU/sensor.
- Incorrect Signal: Double-check the signal type and editing parameters. Ensure the phase is correctly set if applicable.
- Device Unresponsive: Disconnect the power, wait a few seconds, and then reconnect. If the issue persists, contact customer support.

10. User Tips
- When simulating vehicle speed signals, remember there are two main methods: using a separate speed sensor on the transmission output shaft (common in trucks/motorcycles) or collecting signals from an ABS sensor (common in small cars).
- For magnetoelectric ABS sensor simulation, note that most cars use Hall type, while trucks often use magnetoelectric type. The XH300 can simulate magnetoelectric ABS signals but does not support two-wire Hall types.
- The 60+0 signal is a standard tooth signal and can be used to simulate speed and magnetoelectric ASB signals.
- Always ensure the signal amplitude (5V or 12V) matches the requirements of the ECU or sensor you are testing to prevent damage.
