6. Maintenance
6.1. Battery Life and Charging
The camera features a built-in 15600mAh battery and is powered by a 9W solar panel. Under optimal sunlight conditions, the camera can operate for up to 365 days. Without direct sunlight, the battery can last approximately 180 days. Ensure the solar panel is clean and positioned to receive maximum sunlight for continuous charging.
6.2. Weather Resistance
With an IP66 waterproof rating, the camera is designed to withstand various outdoor weather conditions, including rain, sun, and dust. It operates effectively in temperatures ranging from -10°C to 55°C. Regularly check for any debris or blockages on the camera lens or solar panel.

6.3. Sleep Status
To optimize battery life, the camera enters a low-power 'sleep status' when no human activity is detected. This mode significantly reduces battery consumption without affecting the camera's ability to monitor. It will automatically wake up and record in full frame upon detecting motion. The sleep mode can be configured or disabled in the app if the battery is sufficiently charged.
7. Troubleshooting
- Camera not connecting to network: Ensure your 4G SIM card is correctly inserted, active, and has a sufficient data plan. The camera does not support WiFi.
- Poor video quality: Check the camera lens for dirt or obstructions. Ensure adequate 4G signal strength in the installation area.
- Battery not charging: Verify the solar panel is connected correctly and receives direct sunlight. Clean the solar panel surface regularly.
- False alarms: Adjust the sensitivity settings for PIR human motion detection in the iCSee app. The AI Humanoid Detection feature helps reduce false alarms from non-human movements.
- No recording: Check if a TF card is inserted and has sufficient space, or if your cloud storage subscription is active.
8. User Tips
- Maximize Coverage: Utilize the Pan 355° and Tilt 90° features to cover a wide area. The three-screen view in the app allows you to monitor both a fixed wide-angle and a controllable PTZ view simultaneously.
- Detailed Monitoring: Take advantage of the 10X zoom for clearer views of distant objects or specific areas of interest.
- Power Efficiency: The camera's AOV function and sleep status are designed for optimal battery life. Ensure your solar panel is positioned for maximum sun exposure to maintain continuous operation.
- Remote Access: Since the camera uses 4G, you can monitor your property from virtually anywhere with cellular coverage, making it ideal for locations without WiFi.
