Operating Instructions
Fuel Mixture
This brush cutter uses a 2-stroke engine and requires a specific fuel mixture. Always use fresh, high-quality unleaded petrol mixed with 2-stroke engine oil at a ratio of 25:1 (Petrol : 2-Stroke Oil). Use the provided mixing bottle for accurate measurement. Never use pure petrol or automotive engine oil.
Starting the Engine
- Place the machine on a flat, stable surface.
- Ensure the fuel tank is filled with the correct fuel mixture.
- Press the primer bulb several times until fuel is visible in the clear return line.
- Set the choke lever to the 'START' or 'CLOSED' position.
- Set the throttle to a low position.
- Hold the machine firmly with one hand and pull the starter cord with the other until the engine briefly fires (usually 1-3 pulls).
- Once it fires, immediately move the choke lever to the 'RUN' or 'OPEN' position.
- Pull the starter cord again until the engine starts and runs smoothly.
- Allow the engine to warm up for a few moments before engaging the throttle.
Operation
- Always maintain a firm grip on the handles.
- Use the adjustable shoulder harness to distribute the weight and reduce fatigue.
- Keep the cutting head away from your body and other objects.
- For grass trimming, use a sweeping motion. For brush cutting, approach thicker vegetation carefully.
- Avoid hitting hard objects like rocks or metal, as this can damage the blade/head and cause kickback.
- To stop the engine, press the stop switch on the handle.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your equipment.
- After Each Use: Clean the cutting head, safety guard, and engine housing. Check for any loose bolts or damaged parts.
- Air Filter: Clean the air filter regularly, especially in dusty conditions. A dirty air filter can reduce engine performance.
- Spark Plug: Inspect the spark plug periodically. Clean or replace it if it's fouled or worn.
- Fuel Filter: Check the fuel filter in the fuel tank for blockages. Replace if necessary.
- Gearbox Lubrication: Periodically check and replenish the grease in the gearbox at the cutting head.
- Blade Sharpening/Replacement: Keep the brush cutter blade sharp for efficient cutting. Replace worn or damaged blades.
- Storage: When storing for extended periods, drain the fuel tank and carburetor to prevent fuel degradation issues. Store in a dry, safe place.

User Tips
- Ergonomics: The ergonomic bullhorn handle and adjustable shoulder harness are designed to reduce fatigue. Take the time to adjust the harness and handle position to find the most comfortable and balanced setup for your height and working style.
- Starting Aid: The engine features a primer bulb to assist with starting. Always use it before attempting to pull the starter cord, especially for cold starts, to ensure fuel is readily available to the carburetor.
- Weight Management: At 7.0kg, the machine is designed to be manageable. Utilizing the shoulder strap correctly will significantly reduce strain during prolonged use.
- Versatility: Don't forget to utilize both the brush cutter blade for tougher weeds and small saplings, and the trimmer line head for general grass trimming. Switching between them is straightforward.
