8. Troubleshooting
8.1 Common Issues and Solutions
- Device Not Powering On / Repeated Reboots / Cannot Start:
Ensure you are using the provided cigarette lighter power cord. Do NOT use a data cable for power, as this will cause insufficient voltage and prevent proper operation or damage the device. - Touch Screen Unresponsive / Incorrect Touches:
Perform screen proofreading (calibration). Press the screen with five fingers simultaneously until a '+' sign appears in the upper left corner. Tap the '+' sign to complete the calibration. - Rear Camera Not Working:
Verify that the rear camera is securely connected. Ensure it is a compatible rear camera from the official store, as third-party cameras may not be supported. - CarPlay/Android Auto Audio Not Playing Through Car Speakers:
CarPlay's Bluetooth connects to the dash cam, not directly to your car's radio. To get audio through your car speakers, use one of the following methods:
a. Connect your phone's Bluetooth to your car's audio system (dual Bluetooth mode).
b. Use the FM Transmit function and tune your car radio to the corresponding frequency.
c. Connect the provided AUX cable from the dash cam to your car's AUX input. - Poor GPS Signal:
Ensure the optional GPS module (if installed) is placed in a location with a clear, unobstructed view of the sky.

10. User Tips
- Multiple Phone Connectivity: If multiple users share the vehicle, the dash cam will likely remember the last connected phone for CarPlay/Android Auto. For seamless switching, ensure only one phone is actively trying to connect at a time, or manually select the desired phone from the dash cam's interface.
- Stable Power is Key: Always prioritize using the dedicated cigarette lighter power cord. This prevents power-related issues that can disrupt recording or damage the device.
- Optimal Screen View: Utilize the flexible lens's 360-degree rotation and up/down slide to perfectly frame your desired recording area, whether it's the road ahead or the cabin interior.
- Audio Flexibility: Experiment with the different audio output options (FM Transmit, AUX, Bluetooth to Car Speaker) to find the best sound quality and convenience for your vehicle's audio system.
