5. Setup and Installation

  1. Power Supply: Connect a DC power supply within the range of 4.2V to 9V to the input wires. The red wire is positive (+), and the black wire is negative (-). Ensure the power supply can provide 1-3A of current.

6. Operation

  1. Once the input power supply is connected correctly, the module is ready for operation.
  2. If your module includes a switch button (as shown in Figure 1), press it to activate the high-voltage output.
  3. A purple high-temperature arc will be generated between the output electrodes. This arc can be used to ignite wood chips, cardboard boxes, and similar materials.
  4. To stop the arc, release the switch button or disconnect the input power.

  • Keep the module clean and free from dust and debris.

  • No Arc:

    • Check if the switch button (if present) is pressed.
    • Ensure the output electrodes are within the recommended discharge distance (5-12mm).
  • Weak Arc:
    • Confirm the power supply can deliver adequate current.
    • Check for loose connections.

  • For DIY projects, consider enclosing the module in a non-conductive, heat-resistant casing for added safety and protection.
