4. Setup and Installation

The SCT010T-D current transformer features a split-core design for easy installation without interrupting the primary circuit.

Installation Steps:

  1. Ensure the power to the primary conductor is disconnected before installation for safety.
  2. Open the current transformer by pressing the safety lock buckle.
  3. Place the primary conductor (the wire carrying the current to be measured) through the 10mm opening of the transformer.
  4. Close the current transformer, ensuring the safety lock buckle is securely fastened.
  5. Connect the output wires from the screw terminals to your monitoring or protection device. Refer to the wiring diagram for correct polarity.

5. Operating Instructions

Once installed and connected, the SCT010T-D will convert the AC current in the primary conductor into a proportional 0-5V DC output signal. This signal can then be read by a PLC, data logger, or other monitoring equipment.

6. Maintenance

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your SCT010T-D current transformer, consider the following:
