4.2 DPI Adjustment

The mouse supports multiple DPI levels. Use the dedicated DPI adjustment key to cycle through them. The default DPI values are 400 (Red), 800 (Blue), 1600 (Green), 3200 (Purple), and 4800 (Yellow/Red light). 5. Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your gaming mouse.

5.1 Cleaning

  • Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the mouse's matte UV skin-friendly coating.
  • For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a mild electronics cleaner. Avoid harsh chemicals.
  • Use compressed air to clear dust and debris from crevices and around the scroll wheel.
  • Clean the optical sensor on the bottom of the mouse periodically with a cotton swab.

5.2 Battery Care

  • Charge the 300mAh battery regularly to maintain its health.
  • Avoid completely draining the battery frequently.
  • The mouse offers up to 84 hours of light-free battery life in 1K mode.

5.3 PTFE Foot Mats

The mouse is equipped with low-friction PTFE foot mats for precise handling. If the glide performance degrades, inspect the foot mats for wear and tear. Replacement foot mats may be available from the manufacturer or authorized resellers.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Darmoshark M3XS Pro, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

6.1 Connectivity Issues

  • Wireless 2.4G Disconnection:
    • Ensure the 2.4G receiver is securely plugged into a USB port.
    • Check that the mouse is switched to 2.4G wireless mode.
    • Try plugging the receiver into a different USB port.
    • Ensure the mouse is charged.
  • Bluetooth Pairing Failure:
    • Make sure the mouse is in Bluetooth pairing mode.
    • Ensure your computer's Bluetooth is enabled and discoverable.
    • Remove any previous pairings of the mouse from your computer's Bluetooth settings and try pairing again.

6.2 DPI/Polling Rate Not Changing

  • DPI: Press the DPI adjustment key firmly. If using custom settings, ensure the Web/Client Dual Driver software is running and settings are applied.
  • Polling Rate: Ensure the mouse is in 2.4G wireless mode. Bluetooth mode has a fixed 125Hz polling rate. If using 4K/8K, confirm you have the correct receiver and it's paired.

6.3 Software Not Recognizing Mouse

  • Ensure the mouse is connected via wired or 2.4G wireless mode (Bluetooth is not supported by the driver).
  • Restart the Web/Client Dual Driver software and/or your computer.
  • Reinstall the driver software from the official Darmoshark website.

6.4 General Performance Issues

  • Lag or Stuttering: Ensure the mouse is fully charged. Reduce wireless interference by moving other wireless devices away from the receiver.
  • Inaccurate Tracking: Clean the optical sensor. Ensure you are using a suitable mouse pad.

8. User Tips

Maximize your gaming experience with these helpful tips:

  • Keep Drivers Updated: Regularly check the official Darmoshark website for the latest Web/Client Dual Driver software to ensure you have access to the newest features and performance optimizations.
  • Optimize Polling Rate: For competitive gaming, utilize the 8000Hz polling rate in 2.4G wireless mode with the appropriate receiver for the lowest latency. For general use or to conserve battery, a lower polling rate like 1000Hz is sufficient.
  • Customize for Comfort: Experiment with DPI settings and button assignments using the driver software to find what feels most comfortable and efficient for your grip style and game preferences.
  • Battery Management: While the mouse has a long battery life, it's good practice to charge it overnight or during breaks to avoid interruptions during critical gaming moments.
  • Surface Matters: Use a high-quality mouse pad to ensure consistent and accurate tracking, especially with high DPI and IPS sensors like the PAW3950.

9. Warranty and Support

For warranty information, technical support, or service inquiries, please refer to the warranty card included with your product or contact Darmoshark customer service through their official website. Keep your proof of purchase for any warranty claims.
