Setup
1. Charging the Device
Before first use, fully charge the detector using the provided USB Type-C cable and a DC 5V 1A power adapter (not included). The battery icon on the screen will indicate charging status.
2. Powering On/Off
- Power On: Press and hold the Power ON/OFF button (middle button) for a few seconds until the screen lights up.
- Power Off: Press and hold the Power ON/OFF button for a few seconds until the screen turns off. The device features an automatic shutdown function to conserve battery, but it will remain on when an alarm is active.
3. Placement
The detector is designed for versatile placement. It includes a lanyard for hanging and a magnetic back for attaching to metallic surfaces like refrigerators or shelves. Ensure the air vents are not obstructed for accurate readings.

Operating Instructions
1. Understanding the Display
The color VA screen displays real-time readings for:
- PM2.5 concentration (µg/m³)
- PM10 concentration (µg/m³)
- Temperature (°C/°F)
- Humidity (%RH)
- Battery level indicator

Figure 3: The detector simultaneously displays PM2.5, PM10, temperature, and humidity.
2. Air Quality Indication (Breathing Light)
The device features a 3-color breathing light that visually indicates the air quality based on PM2.5/PM10 concentration:
- Green: Good (0-34 µg/m³)
- Yellow: Warning (35-110 µg/m³)
- Red: Danger (>110 µg/m³)

Figure 4: Air quality is indicated by the color of the breathing light.
3. Sound and Light Dual Alert
When PM2.5/PM10 concentration exceeds the preset alarm value (default >110 µg/m³), the device will trigger a red flashing light and an audible alarm. The alarm value can be customized.
- Mute/Unmute: Press the top button to mute or unmute the audible alarm.
- Customize Alarm Value: Refer to the full user manual for detailed instructions on customizing alarm thresholds.

Figure 5: The device provides both visual and audible alerts for poor air quality.
4. Temperature Unit Switch
Press the bottom button to switch between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F) for temperature display.
Maintenance
Cleaning
Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or allow water to enter the device, especially the air vents.
Storage
Store the detector in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Avoid environments with high dust or chemical concentrations, which can affect sensor accuracy.
Battery Care
To prolong battery life, recharge the device regularly, even if not in frequent use. Avoid fully discharging the battery for extended periods.
Sensor Care
Ensure the air vents on the device are always clear of obstructions to allow for proper airflow to the sensors. Do not attempt to clean the internal sensors directly.
Troubleshooting
- Device not turning on: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the device to a power source using the USB Type-C cable.
- Inaccurate readings: Check if the air vents are obstructed. Move the device to a different location to rule out localized anomalies. Allow the device to stabilize for a few minutes after moving.
- Audible alarm not sounding: Check if the device is muted (press the top button to toggle mute). Verify that the PM2.5/PM10 concentration exceeds the set alarm value.
- Screen not displaying correctly: Try restarting the device. If the issue persists, contact customer support.
