4.1. Adjusting Voltage and Current
The SPS-V series features encoder coarse and fine adjustment knobs for precise control.
- Voltage Adjustment:
Use the V-COARSE knob (12) to adjust the two digits before the decimal point of the voltage. Use the V-FINE knob (13) to adjust the two digits after the decimal point. Press the knob to switch between the digits to be adjusted. - Current Adjustment:
Use the A-COARSE knob (14) to adjust the first two digits of the current display. Use the A-FINE knob (15) to adjust the last two digits of the current display. Press the knob to switch between the digits to be adjusted.
4.2. Output Control (OUT Button)
- Press the OUT button (11) to turn on the output. The display will show the active voltage and current.
- Press the OUT button (11) again to turn off the output. The display will show "OFF".
4.3. Over Current Protection (OCP)
The OCP function protects your load from excessive current.
- Press the OCP button (10) to enter the OCP function interface.
- Adjust the required OCP trip point using the V-COARSE knob (12). Turning the knob will change the display from "0" to "1", indicating OCP is enabled. The OCP indicator (5) will light up.
- Press the OCP button (10) again to return to the main interface.
- If the output current exceeds the set OCP trip point, the OCP indicator (5) will flash, and the output will automatically turn off.
4.4. Output Power ON (OPN) Function
The OPN function allows the unit to output voltage and current automatically upon power-up.
- Press and hold the OUT button (11) for 3 seconds to enter the OPN configuration interface.
- Press the OUT button (11) again to change the display from "0" to "1", enabling the OPN function. The OPN indicator (6) will light up.
- Press and hold the OUT button (11) for 3 seconds to return to the main interface.
- With OPN enabled, the power supply will immediately provide output upon being powered on.
4.5. USB Charging Function
The power supply includes 20W USB-A (9) and USB-C (8) fast charging ports.

Figure 4: USB Charging Capability
- Both USB-A and USB-C ports support multiple quick-charge protocols.
- You can charge mobile phones and other compatible devices simultaneously.
5. Maintenance
- Cooling: The unit features a temperature-controlled cooling fan (20) for efficient heat dissipation. Ensure adequate ventilation around the device.
- Cleaning: Keep the device clean and free from dust. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning.
- Fuse Replacement: A spare fuse is located inside the Fuse Box (23). If the unit does not power on, check and replace the fuse if necessary.
6. Troubleshooting
- No Power: Check the power cord connection and the AC input selectable switch (21) setting. Verify the fuse in the fuse box (23).
- Output Off Unexpectedly: If the OCP indicator (5) is flashing, the Over Current Protection has been activated. Reduce the load or increase the OCP trip point if appropriate.
- Inaccurate Readings: Ensure proper connections to the load. Refer to the specifications for display accuracy.
- USB Charging Not Working: Verify the device connected supports quick charging and that the cable is functional.

8. User Tips
- The coarse adjustment knobs (V-COARSE, A-COARSE) control the larger increments (before the decimal point), while the fine adjustment knobs (V-FINE, A-FINE) control the smaller increments (after the decimal point). This allows for very precise setting of voltage and current.
- The OPN (Output Power ON) function is useful for applications where you need the power supply to immediately provide output upon being switched on, without requiring an additional button press.
- While test leads are included, for long-term use with high current applications, it is recommended to use test leads with sufficient current capacity to ensure optimal performance and safety.
