1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for setting up and operating your DinoFire NC300 Programmable Wireless Gamepad. This versatile controller is designed for an enhanced gaming experience across multiple platforms, including Nintendo Switch, PC, Android, and iOS devices.

2. Setup and Pairing

2.1 Charging the Controller

The controller is equipped with a 1000mAh USB-C battery. A full charge takes approximately 3 hours. Use the included 1.5m USB-C cable to connect the controller to a power source.

2.2 Platform Compatibility and Pairing

The NC300 gamepad supports multiple platforms:

  • Windows PC:
        Wireless: Insert the provided USB receiver into your PC. Hold the sync button on the controller for 3 seconds to initiate pairing.
        Wired: Connect the controller directly to your PC using the USB-C cable.
  • Nintendo Switch (Switch, Switch OLED, Switch Lite):
        Navigate to the 'Controllers' menu on your Switch console and select 'Change Grip/Order' or 'Pairing'. Follow the on-screen instructions to pair the controller. The HOME button on the controller can wake the console once paired.
  • Android/iOS Devices:
        Hold down the 'B' button and the 'HOME' button simultaneously on the controller to enter Bluetooth pairing mode. On your mobile device, search for and select "Xbox Wireless Controller" in your Bluetooth settings to connect.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Basic Controls

The NC300 gamepad features standard gaming controls including A/B/X/Y buttons, a D-pad, L/R/ZL/ZR shoulder buttons, and +/-/Home/Screenshot buttons.

3.2 Hall Effect Joysticks and Triggers

The controller is equipped with Hall Effect joysticks and triggers, designed for zero-drift precision and no input delay. To toggle the 0 Deadzone feature, hold down the 'T' button and either the R3 (right joystick click) or L3 (left joystick click) button.

3.3 RGB Lighting

Customize your gaming experience with adjustable RGB lighting. The controller offers 6 lighting modes (dynamic, breathing, static, or off) and 4 brightness levels. To cycle through modes and brightness, press the 'M' button along with the left (◄) or right (►) directional button.

3.4 Turbo Function

The Turbo function allows for rapid, repeated input of a button press. It can be assigned to A, B, X, Y, L, R, ZL, or ZR buttons. To adjust the Turbo speed (5, 12, or 20 taps/second), press the 'Turbo' button along with the Up (↑) or Down (↓) directional button. To clear a Turbo setting, press the '–' button and the '↓' directional button simultaneously.

3.5 Programmable Back Buttons (M1/M2)

The NC300 features two programmable back buttons, M1 and M2, which can map over 21 different actions. To program these buttons, press the 'M' button followed by either M1 or M2. To reset the mappings, press the 'M' button and the '–' button simultaneously.

3.6 Vibration and Motion Controls

  • Dual Motors Vibration: The controller features dual motors for haptic feedback. Vibration intensity can be adjusted to 3 levels by pressing L+R+ZL+ZR simultaneously for 2 seconds. This feature is supported on Windows PC and Nintendo Switch only.
  • Motion Controls: Motion control functionality is exclusive to the Nintendo Switch platform.

3.7 Auto-Sleep Function

To conserve battery life, the controller will automatically shut down after 20 minutes of inactivity.

  • Keep the controller in a dry environment and avoid exposure to moisture or extreme temperatures.

5. Troubleshooting

  • Vibration/Gyro not working on mobile devices: This is expected behavior. Vibration and gyro functions are not supported on Android/iOS devices.
  • Gyro not working on PC: Gyro functionality is exclusive to the Nintendo Switch platform.
  • Controller not pairing: Ensure the controller is sufficiently charged. For PC, verify the USB receiver is properly inserted. For Switch, ensure you are in the correct pairing menu. For mobile, ensure Bluetooth is enabled and you are holding B+HOME to initiate pairing.
  • Buttons not responding: Try resetting the controller by pressing the 'M' button and the '–' button simultaneously to clear any custom mappings.
  • Turbo function issues: Clear the Turbo setting by pressing '–' and '↓' simultaneously, then re-assign if needed.
