3. Setup Guide
3.1 Hardware Installation (Hard Drives)
The ORICO MetaHome Pro supports 3.5-inch SATA HDDs/SSDs (up to 24TB per slot) and M.2 NVMe 2280 SSDs (up to 8TB per slot) for a total capacity of 64TB. Hard drives are sold separately.
- Carefully open the device to access the drive bays.
- Install your 3.5-inch SATA HDDs/SSDs into the designated slots. Secure them with the provided screws.
- Install your M.2 NVMe 2280 SSDs into their respective slots.
- Close the device securely.
3.2 Initial Connection
- Connect the ORICO MetaHome Pro to your router using one of the provided network cables.
- Connect the power adapter to the device and plug it into a power outlet.
- Power on the device.
3.3 Software Setup (CyberData OS)
