Note: 2 AA batteries are required for operation and are NOT included in the package. Please purchase them separately.

4. Setup Guide

  1. Insert Batteries: Open the battery compartment (typically on the bottom or side, refer to Figure 6) and insert two (2) AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
  2. Charge the Device (Optional): Connect the supplied USB-C cable to the 'TYPE-C 5V' port on the amplifier and the other end to a compatible USB power source (e.g., computer, wall adapter). The 'CHG' indicator will illuminate during charging.
  3. Connect Audio Source: Plug your audio source (e.g., mixer's AUX transmitter, microphone, instrument) into the XLR/TRS combo input on the amplifier. Ensure the cable is securely locked into place. To release, press the label next to the bottom-mounted connector.
  4. Connect Headphones/IEMs: Plug your preferred headphones, earbuds, or custom-molded professional in-ear monitors (IEMs) into the top-mounted, standard 3.5mm (1/8") stereo output jack.
  5. Select Mono/Stereo Mode: Use the external MONO/STEREO switch to select the desired mode. For a single source or mixer's AUX transmitter, move the switch to the MONO position. For a headphone output or other stereo source, select STEREO.

5. Operating Instructions

  1. Power On/Off: Rotate the volume knob clockwise to turn the amplifier ON. The LED indicator around the knob will light up. Rotate counter-clockwise until it clicks to turn OFF.
  2. Adjust Volume: Once powered on, rotate the volume knob to adjust the output level to your headphones/IEMs. Start with a low volume and gradually increase to a comfortable listening level.
  3. Monitor Battery Life: The LED indicator may change color or flash to indicate low battery status. Recharge or replace batteries as needed.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the amplifier. Do not use liquid cleaners or solvents.
  • Storage: Store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Battery Care: If the device will not be used for an extended period, remove the AA batteries to prevent leakage.
  • Cable Management: Avoid sharp bends or excessive pulling on cables to prevent damage to connectors and ports.

7. Troubleshooting

No Sound Output:
  • Ensure the amplifier is powered ON and the volume knob is turned up.
  • Check all cable connections (audio source to input, headphones to output) are secure.
  • Verify the audio source is active and producing sound.
  • Check the batteries; replace or recharge if low.
  • Confirm the MONO/STEREO switch is in the correct position for your source.
Distorted Sound:
  • Reduce the volume on both the amplifier and the audio source.
  • Check for damaged cables or connectors.
  • Ensure the audio source signal is not overdriving the amplifier input.
Device Not Powering On:
  • Check if the AA batteries are inserted correctly and are not depleted.
  • If using USB-C power, ensure the cable and power source are functional.
