4. Maintenance

4.1 Waterproofing

The Huawei WATCH D2 complies with IP68 protection grade requirements. This means it is resistant to dust and can withstand immersion in water up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes. However, it is not suitable for water activities in shallow waters such as swimming pools or beaches, and is not suitable for scuba diving, showering, hot springs, saunas, and other wading or deep water activities under high-speed water flow.

Important: The waterproof function is not permanent and may decrease due to daily wear. Do not measure blood pressure when the watch is wet. Damage caused by liquid intrusion is not covered under warranty if the product is used beyond its intended waterproof capabilities or if the strap is removed.

4.2 Cleaning

Regularly clean your watch and strap with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the device. Ensure the charging contacts are clean and dry before charging.

5. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Huawei WATCH D2, try the following common solutions:

  • Watch not turning on: Ensure the watch is fully charged. Connect it to the charging base and allow it to charge for at least 30 minutes.
  • Connectivity issues (Bluetooth): Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone and the watch is within range. Restart both devices and try pairing again through the Huawei Health app.
  • Inaccurate measurements (Blood Pressure, Heart Rate, ECG): Ensure the watch strap is worn correctly and snugly on your wrist. Remain still and avoid talking during measurements. Check for any obstructions or dirt on the sensors.
  • Battery draining quickly: Review your usage patterns. Frequent use of GPS, continuous monitoring, and high screen brightness can reduce battery life. Adjust settings in the Huawei Health app to optimize battery usage.
  • App synchronization problems: Ensure your Huawei Health app is updated to the latest version. Check your phone's internet connection.

For more detailed troubleshooting or persistent issues, please refer to the official Huawei support resources or contact customer service.
