4. Setup
4.1 Powering On/Off
- Power On: Press and hold the Home button for a few seconds until the indicator lights turn on.
- Power Off: Press and hold the Home button for a few seconds until the indicator lights turn off. The controller will also automatically power off after a period of inactivity.
4.2 Platform Selection and Connection
The Aolion K20 supports multiple platforms and connection types. Use the switch located on the back of the controller to select the desired platform mode (NS, AN, iOS, PC) before connecting.

4.2.1 Nintendo Switch / Switch Lite / Switch OLED Connection
- Set the platform switch on the back of the controller to "NS".
- On your Nintendo Switch, go to "Controllers" > "Change Grip/Order".
- Press and hold the Sync button on the controller (usually a small button on the top or back) until the indicator lights flash rapidly.
- The controller will pair with your Switch. Once connected, the player indicator lights will illuminate steadily.
Note: The Aolion K20 does not support one-key wake-up for the Nintendo Switch 2.
4.2.2 PC Connection (USB Wired / 2.4G Wireless / Bluetooth)
Set the platform switch on the back of the controller to "PC".
- USB Wired: Connect the controller directly to your PC using the provided USB-C cable. The PC should automatically detect and install the necessary drivers.
- 2.4G Wireless: Insert the 2.4G USB receiver into an available USB port on your PC. Power on the controller. It should automatically connect to the receiver.
- Bluetooth:
- Ensure your PC has Bluetooth enabled.
- Press and hold the Bluetooth pairing button on the controller (refer to the manual PDF for exact button location if not obvious) until the indicator lights flash rapidly.
- On your PC, go to Bluetooth settings and search for new devices. Select "Aolion K20" (or similar name) to pair.
4.2.3 Android / iOS Connection (Bluetooth)
Set the platform switch on the back of the controller to "AN" for Android or "iOS" for Apple devices.
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your Android or iOS device.
- Press and hold the Bluetooth pairing button on the controller until the indicator lights flash rapidly.
- On your device, go to Bluetooth settings and search for new devices. Select "Aolion K20" (or similar name) to pair.
5. Operation
5.1 Basic Controls
The controller features standard ABXY buttons, D-Pad, and dual joysticks for fundamental gameplay. The Hall-Linear triggers and mechanical buttons provide a responsive and tactile experience.

5.2 Advanced Features
- RGB Lighting Effects: The joysticks feature customizable RGB lighting. Specific button combinations (refer to the full PDF manual for details) can be used to cycle through different colors and lighting modes.
- Turbo Function:
- Manual Turbo: Assign a button to Turbo mode. Holding the Turbo button and pressing another action button will rapidly repeat that action.
- Automatic Turbo: Activate auto-turbo for a button, and it will continuously repeat the action without needing to hold it down.

6. Charging
The Aolion K20 controller can be charged using the included USB-C cable or the intelligent charging dock.
- Using USB-C Cable: Connect the USB-C end of the cable to the controller and the USB-A end to a power source (e.g., PC, USB wall adapter).
- Using Charging Dock: Place the controller onto the charging dock. The dock supports intelligent start-stop charging and automatic connection. The RGB lighting on the dock is also adjustable.

- Switch 2 Wake-up: Please note that the Aolion K20 controller does not support one-key wake-up for the Nintendo Switch 2.
