2. Safety Information

5. Operation
5.1. Basic Engraving/Cutting Process
- Prepare Material: Place your material (e.g., wood, acrylic, metal) within the 300x300mm engraving area. For cutting, consider using metal cutting plates to protect the workbench.
- Load Design: Open the software on your computer or mobile device. Import your design file (JPEG, SVG, PNG, BMP, DXF, AI, PLT).
- Adjust Settings: Set engraving/cutting parameters such as laser power (e.g., 20W for blue light laser, 1W for infrared laser), speed, and passes based on the material.
- Preview: Use the software's preview function to ensure the design is correctly positioned.
- Start Operation: Initiate the engraving or cutting process. Monitor the machine during operation.

5.2. Switching Laser Heads
The DAJA A6 Pro supports interchangeable laser heads for different materials.
- Power Off: Ensure the machine is powered off before changing laser heads.
- Remove Current Head: Disconnect the cable and carefully remove the installed laser module.
- Install New Head: Attach the desired laser module (e.g., 455nm Blue Diode Laser or 1064nm Infrared Laser) and reconnect its cable.
- Secure: Ensure the new laser head is securely fastened.

5.3. Advanced Functions
5.3.1. Rotary Engraving
With the optional 360° rotation axis, you can engrave cylindrical objects perfectly. Install the rotation axis and adjust the software settings for cylindrical engraving.

The software allows for batch engraving, enabling you to engrave multiple items with the same design efficiently.
5.3.3. Cutting Function
The A6 Pro is capable of cutting various materials. The 20W blue diode laser can cut wood up to 16mm and acrylic up to 10mm in a single pass. It can also cut pine wood up to 8mm and opaque acrylic up to 4mm.

7.1. Cleaning
- Regularly clean the laser lens with a soft, lint-free cloth and lens cleaning solution to ensure optimal performance.

7.2. Smoking Machine Filter Replacement (Optional Accessory)
If you are using the optional smoking machine, ensure its filters are replaced regularly to maintain efficient fume extraction and air purification.

10. User Tips
- For colored acrylic or glass engraving with the blue light laser, remember that you might need to apply color paper or paint the surface black for optimal results. The blue laser does not directly engrave in color.
- When engraving metal, the infrared laser is highly effective for achieving detailed results, including over 550 colors on stainless steel.
- Always ensure your material is securely placed and flat to achieve consistent engraving and cutting depth.
- Experiment with different power and speed settings on scrap material before working on your final project to find the best parameters for each material type.
