5. Setup and Connectivity

The ZELOTES F-26C supports dual-mode operation, allowing connection via 2.4G wireless receiver or Bluetooth. It can be paired with two devices simultaneously (one via Bluetooth, one via 2.4GHz receiver).

5.1. Powering On/Off

Locate the Power switch (12) on the bottom of the mouse. Slide it to "ON" to power on, or "OFF" to power off.

5.2. Connecting via 2.4G Wireless

  1. Remove the 2.4G USB receiver from its storage slot (13) on the bottom of the mouse.
  2. Plug the USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
  3. Turn on the mouse using the Power switch (12).
  4. The mouse should automatically connect. The 2.4GHz indicator light (10) will illuminate red. The OLED screen (15) will display "MODE: 2.4G".

5.3. Connecting via Bluetooth

The mouse can connect to two Bluetooth devices. To pair with the first device:

  1. Turn on the mouse's Power switch (12) to "ON".
  2. Press and hold the Bluetooth switch (8) for more than 3 seconds. The blue Bluetooth indicator light (11) will blink, and the mouse will be discoverable for pairing for two minutes.
  3. On your device, search for Bluetooth devices and select "Bluetooth mouse" to pair.

For Windows 7 and Windows 8 operating systems:

  • Press "Start", choose "Control Panel", then "Add a device".
  • Choose "Bluetooth mouse" from the list, then "Next".

For Windows 10 operating system:

  • Press "Start", choose "Settings", then "Devices", then "Bluetooth".
  • Choose "Bluetooth mouse" from the list, then "Connect".

5.4. Switching Between Devices

To switch between paired devices (one Bluetooth, one 2.4G wireless), simply short press the Bluetooth switch (8). The OLED screen (15) and indicator lights (10, 11) will show the current connection mode.

6. Operation

6.1. DPI Adjustment

The mouse features 4 adjustable DPI levels: 1000, 1600, 2400, and 3200 DPI. Press the DPI button (7) to cycle through the sensitivity levels. The current DPI level will be displayed in real-time on the OLED screen (15).

6.2. Lighting Effects

The mouse features colorful RGB ambient lighting. Use the Lighting-mode switch button (6) to toggle between different lighting effects, including "rainbow color", "breathing light", and various monocolors.

6.3. Shortcut Keys

7. Charging the Mouse

The ZELOTES F-26C features an in-built 730mAh Lithium-ion rechargeable battery.

  • Charging: Plug the provided Type-C charging cable into the charging port on the front of the mouse and connect the other end to a USB power source. The charging indicator light (9) at the bottom of the mouse will remain lit while charging.
  • Full Charge Indication: Once the mouse is fully charged, the charging indicator light (9) will turn off. The OLED screen (15) will also display "fully-charged".
  • Low-Battery Warning: The battery icon on the OLED screen (15) will flash as a warning once the battery's power level drops to 30%.

8. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the mouse. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
  • Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the mouse in a cool, dry place. Ensure the power switch is in the "OFF" position to conserve battery life.
  • Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the mouse frequently. Charge it when the low-battery warning appears.

  • Mouse not responding: Ensure the mouse is powered on and fully charged. Check the connection mode (2.4G or Bluetooth) and ensure it matches your device. For 2.4G, try plugging the USB receiver into a different port. For Bluetooth, re-attempt pairing.
  • Lag or intermittent connection: Ensure the mouse is within the wireless range (up to 10m). Avoid obstructions between the mouse and receiver/device. Check for interference from other wireless devices.
  • DPI not changing: Ensure you are pressing the correct DPI button (7). The OLED screen (15) should show the DPI level changing.
  • Lighting not working: Press the Lighting-mode switch button (6) to cycle through modes. Ensure the mouse has sufficient battery.
  • Charging issues: Ensure the Type-C cable is securely connected to both the mouse and the power source. Try a different USB port or charging cable.
