1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the Aigostar BlueFire Portable Induction Hob. This appliance is designed for efficient and convenient cooking, featuring a touch control panel, adjustable temperature and wattage settings, and a timer function. Please read this manual thoroughly before use to ensure safe operation and optimal performance.

2. Important Safety Instructions

WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, injury to persons, or damage to the appliance, read and follow all instructions carefully.

  • Ensure the voltage rating of the appliance matches your local power supply (220V).
  • Do not immerse the appliance, power cord, or plug in water or other liquids.
  • Always place the induction hob on a stable, flat, heat-resistant, and well-ventilated surface.
  • Do not block the air vents on the bottom or sides of the appliance. Maintain at least 10 cm clearance from walls or other objects.
  • Do not operate the appliance if the power cord or plug is damaged, or if the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner.
  • Keep children away from the appliance during operation. The surface will be hot.
  • Use only compatible cookware made of ferromagnetic material (e.g., cast iron, enameled iron, stainless steel with a magnetic bottom).
  • Do not place metal objects such as knives, forks, spoons, lids, cans, or aluminum foil on the hob surface, as they can become hot.
  • Do not heat empty pots or pans.
  • Unplug the appliance from the outlet when not in use and before cleaning.
  • Do not use the appliance near gas stoves or other heat sources.
  • This appliance is for household use only.

Control Panel Functions:

  • Max: Sets the hob to maximum temperature/power.

5. Setup

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove the induction hob from its packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
  2. Placement: Place the appliance on a dry, stable, non-metallic, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit, keeping at least 10 cm clear space from walls or other appliances.
  3. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded 220V electrical outlet. Ensure the outlet is easily accessible.
  4. Initial Check: Before first use, wipe the surface with a damp cloth to remove any dust. Ensure it is completely dry.

6. Operating Instructions

  1. Power On: Place suitable cookware (see Section 7) with food on the center of the induction hob. Press the "On/Off" button to turn on the appliance. The digital display will light up.
  2. Select Mode/Adjust Settings:
    • Use the "Choose" button to cycle through different cooking modes (if available).
    • Use the "+" and "-" buttons to adjust the temperature (60°C - 240°C) or wattage (200W - 2000W) to your desired level.
    • For maximum power, press the "Max" button. For minimum power, press the "Min" button.
  3. Set Timer (Optional): Press the timer button (often integrated with "Choose" or a separate icon) and use the "+" and "-" buttons to set the desired cooking time (1-180 minutes). The hob will automatically turn off once the timer expires.
  4. Reservation Function: If your model supports reservation, refer to the specific icon on the control panel to set a delayed start time for cooking.
  5. Cooking: The hob will begin heating immediately. Monitor your cooking process.
  6. Power Off: After cooking, press the "On/Off" button to turn off the appliance. The fan may continue to run for a short period to cool down the internal components. Unplug the appliance from the wall socket once it has cooled down.

7. Compatible Cookware

The Aigostar BlueFire induction hob requires cookware made of ferromagnetic materials. To check if your cookware is compatible, hold a magnet to the bottom of the pot or pan. If the magnet sticks, the cookware is suitable for induction cooking.

8. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your induction hob.

  1. Disconnect Power: Always unplug the appliance from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. Clean Surface: Wipe the glass-ceramic surface with a soft, damp cloth. For stubborn stains, use a mild detergent specifically designed for glass-ceramic cooktops.
  3. Clean Housing: Wipe the plastic housing with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the surface.
  4. Air Vents: Ensure the air vents are free from dust and debris. You may use a soft brush or vacuum cleaner to gently clean them.
  5. Drying: Ensure all parts are thoroughly dry before plugging the appliance back in or storing it.
  6. Storage: Store the induction hob in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
