4. Setup

4.1 Battery Installation

Note on Tape Color: Due to manufacturing variations, the physical tape measure may be either white or yellow. This does not affect functionality.

5.2 Laser Distance Measurement

  1. Activate Laser: With the device powered on, press the Switch/Measurement Key (2) once to emit the laser beam.
  2. Single Measurement: Aim the laser emission hole (4) at your target. Press the Switch/Measurement Key (2) again to take a single measurement. The distance will be displayed on the screen (3).
  3. Continuous Measurement: For real-time distance updates, press and hold the Switch/Measurement Key (2). The display will continuously update the distance as you move the device, helping you find maximum and minimum distances.

5.3 Unit and Reference Point Selection

Press the Unit/Reference Key (1) to cycle through different measurement units (e.g., meters, feet, inches) or to change the measurement reference point.
