4.1 Bike Compatibility Check

To ensure the mid-drive motor kit fits your bike, measure your bike's bottom bracket dimensions:

  • Length: Must be 68-73mm.
  • Internal Diameter: Must be 34-36mm.

Additionally, consider if the chosen chainring size will clear your bike's rear frame. The motor kit includes the 68mm motor, 44T chainwheel, and brake lever by default. If you need to change these, please specify when ordering.

The choice of chainring affects your riding experience. Smaller chainrings (e.g., 36T) are better for climbing, while larger ones (e.g., 52T) are for higher speeds. With an e-bike motor, the motor provides ample power, so the chainring size primarily influences top speed. The chainring is compatible with bikes with ≤11 speeds. If unsure, consider using the same teeth count as your original chainring.

5.5 Brake System Options

The kit comes with brake levers that have a power cutting-off function by default. If you prefer to retain your existing hydraulic or mechanical brakes, you can request brake sensors instead of brake levers. Please inform the seller with your order ID or contact them via email for this change.
